Lots of MP's are not considered victims of crimes until or unless circumstances change, i.e body found, confession, evidence turns up. LE almost never assumes "crime" for an adult missing person as a first reaction, without something more to suggest it.

But...this LE seems to have made the statement about "no foul play" after some investigation, so it is hard tell if that is based on anything more than "nothing to show otherwise".

No body= No crime? Just wondering.............

well unless there's compelling circumstantial evidence...like 9 pints of blood on your carpet

Wonder if this is even more so when a big man in his prime goes missing, versus an attractive gal.

I'll have to think on that. There are definitely cases where there appeared to be no foul play and then evidence of a car accident was found.

I would sincerely appreciate your follow up on this.
So let's say no foul play, LE says no crime yada yada.
What if that is the farthest from the truth?

I'm just hoping he is alive and well. Does anyone remember a case on here that LE said no evidence of foul play but it turned out later there was? I just hope they are correct.

Yes---- on ID Discovery--which this group has me watching-lol----the woman who poisoned her husbands with anti-freeze. And Mr Wonderful---Drew Petersen

I want to post this again. Call me Dopey if you want.
Why were there no candlelight vigils held at their church?
With all the 2,500 support group, let's say 500 local..........
Why no vigil at their church? Ida wears a rosary etc....
I just don't get it. I must be missing something. :twocents:

i'm thinking that's an old pic of his car in their drive....what's your point about the Garfield lol

You could be right, but this is on video. Did Rob have Garfield on his back window? Might help find him if someone spotted that.

eta: it just might be a clue.

I've been thinking about how close IM & RM came to seeing each other. The home appears to be
On a large circular street. if he goes the wrong way he could have drove past her. If he was behind schedule getting everything together for his departure- he could have just decided to do it another day, but if he was meeting someone-
he had to make it work even in the short time span
of being home.
-Also about the bike- he hadn't used the bike since last summer, I wonder if it could be in a bike shop. Maybe
he thought about riding it and put it in for a tune up?

  • #833
Beachgal---have not had a bike in years so will ask---do people put ID's on bikes??? Not exactly a VIN number but etch something to identify it in case its stolen??

I'm reviewing articles and saw this. May be nothing.
@1:23 there is a Garfield stuck on his rear window. Just saying..........

http://newyork.cbslocal.com/2013/08...information-regarding-l-i-mans-disappearance/

This is the video where she says something like our last words were "bye, I love you".

http://thenewcivilrightsmovement.co...o-one-knows-where-he-is/news/2013/08/15/73123

In this one, IM is quoted as saying “It was one of those conversations you have with your husband,” Ida told me. “You know – the usual thing, where I’m yakking away a mile a minute about what needs to be done, and Robbie’s going ‘okay, okay’ and ‘hang on, I can’t hear you’ because of how loud it always is at job sites.” Robert, an electrician who worked for the Local 3 union, was working on a theater being constructed in Brooklyn, and the noise of the equipment nearly drowned out Ida’s voice.

After a couple of minutes, the call dropped. Ida shrugged, and went about her morning busy routine, doing the thousand chores that always need to be done and re-done".

I think someone's last words spoken to you would be so important, the story should never change.

Here is another one: http://commack.patch.com/groups/around-town/p/neighbors-form-search-parties-to-find-missing-dad

"We were talking about our son's concert the next day, which he never would have missed. Then he said goodbye, I love you," she recalled.

I think it's harder for the reverse search because if no foul play is perceived, they might not be reported as missing on national sites. We did have a case on this site this summer of a lady named Jennifer who disappeared on her own and finally alerted LE that she was fine and wanted to be left alone after multiple searches by her boyfriend.

This site is hard to search for these things because if they're found and no crime was committed, they are pulled as a prevention of invading their privacy. You'll see if you go to the two located forums that they are all either deceased or a criminal case.

Here are some more located safe's to help you see how possible it is (again from Doe Network):

Wendy Louise Allen was found safe in June 2006. She had been missing since March 30, 1979 from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Lynn Anderson was found safe in 2001. She had been missing since 1978 from Rockford, Illinois.

Marjorie Archer was located safe in 2000. She had been missing since 1985, when she ran away from her home.

Maria Blancas was last seen June 6, 1994 in Carson, California
She has been located. No further information available

Louann Emma Bowers
Bowers was last seen on June 8, 1993 from East Berlin, Adams County, Pennsylvania. She was located safe in July 2009.

Ruby Branham was last seen April 17, 1991 in Sultan, Snohomish County, Washington. She has been located safe.

Vera Daisy Brown
Brown was last seen in Temora, New South Wales, Australia on February 6, 1972. She was 46 years old at the time of her disappearance. NSW police located her alive 32 years later in Australia in November 2004. The month before she disappeared, she had met a flash-dressing mystery man who promised Vera Daisy Brown the world. This smooth-talking svengali convinced her to take a holiday to Brisbane. As the fortnight holiday folly turned into months, Vera and her new beau wrote a handful of confusing letters, promising to be home soon. But then, in November, 1972, the letters stopped. Vera simply vanished and was reported missing. It may seem improbable, but Vera says she stayed away so long because her beau spun her a lie. He convinced her there were debt collectors after them and they had to go into hiding. She changed her name several times and moved through different states. Vera couldn't see through his lies. Vera is ashamed and embarrassed at what she put her family through. They have all since been reunited.

Homer Burk was last seen on December 16, 1992 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He was located safe in April 2007.

John Casby had been missing since October 23, 1995 from Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. He was located safe in June 2005.

Patricia Lopezlira Castro was missing August 7, 1967 from Delegacion Benito Juarez, Distrito Federal, Mexico. She was located safe in 2005.

Sigourney Teresa Chisholm was last seen in Ontario, Canada on May 13, 1993. She was located safe in November 2011.

Ernest Cofield went missing from Florida in 1989 and was located safely in another state in 2003.

Rosaynna Crowder was found safe in 2001. She had been missing since January 1991 from Las Vegas, Nevada.

Laurie Davern was found safe in 2003. She had been missing since April 9, 1976 from Grand Island, Erie County, New York.

Joan De La Riva was found safe in 2005. He had been missing since August 28, 1994 from Mansfield, Texas.

Walter Disney disappeared from Missoula, Montana in 1994. He was located safe in 2005.

There are many more. I didn't count any abducted children in this list.

I hope if he did walk away he contacts them. I hope that he doesn't wait years.
