It was mentioned that he would play the drums with his son's band on occasion. Again, can't link.

IIRC it was only mentioned because those were the only cameras at
The train station.

Hmm if true.. I wonder if he had an unfulfilled dream of playing in a band... if so maybe good to leave flyers in some live music clubs.. I do remember it being mentioned he liked "Old" rock.. somewhere..I will go look for a link if an appropriate one.

Sorry but kids know how to drive at 16 and he could have driven that car. Permit or no permit. If he was asked to move that car he could I'm sure jmoo

Sorry, no disrespect but the odds of this taking place is extremely minute. Like me asking my 5 year old to do the dishes. She knows how to wash a dish but tell her to do all the dishes, good luck. :floorlaugh:

Morning Force 10, I don't think you can compare doing dishes and driving a car.
Kids hop at any chance to drive a car. Im in no way saying this is what happened but the seat position to me suggested a smaller woman or a smaller male drove that car.

Just another possibility in this endless sea of possibilities!
The things u see as not possible I see as very possible, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Hopefully one day we find out what happened!

downtown NYC to Ground Zero
in honor of 9-11.

Leading the ride is Governor Andy Cuomo
and your own Long Island Piano Guy - Billy Joel.

Okay, I was wrong, LI is more than Billy Joel. Now that we have listed much of the population...back to RM...

Did they report early on that RM was a drummer?

I don't recall reading anywhere that he played the drums or dabbled in them, but it was stated here:

Ida Mayer called her husband around 9:00 AM that morning. It was going to be a big weekend, filled with the normal chaos familiar to any family with with kids. Their son, 15 years old, was playing guitar with his band on Saturday. Robbie had turned his son on to classic rock, and did a little drumming himself

Anyone seen any new news? Any searches planned? Or are we still sitting under the cone of silence here?

I dont know if this is appropriate to post here so mods if it is not, please make me aware and I will immediately take it down.

I do not have a link and I am just speaking of what I "heard through the grapevine" so this is just rumor so to speak, but another search is being discussed.

~no facts, just my opinion~

Hello I have been following this from the beginning. I feel like we just keep going in circles. I have always believed that he left voluntarily because like many of you stated , it's just too clean and the fact that when adults go missing it is usually because they want to go missing. But where is he??? he hasn't Been found and even if he doesn't want to be LE would let the family know that he is ok and his wishes are for his location to be unknown.
The only other scenario that I think could be possible is if he had an addiction to pain killers and maybe dropped his money and wallet off to purchase pills and didn't want to carry too much money or have ID on him or even take his car in case he got caught. Maybe his drug use is known by his wife or maybe not. Maybe he was scheduled for a drug test at work and didn't want to take it and this whole thing got out of hand.
This is just me thinking of scenarios that could be possible. I really feel that if someone was out to hurt him LE would have found something by now. RM is a big man and I don't think he would go down easy IMO.
This is so frustrating and not because I want to know out if curiosity but because I have spent so much time following this case and handing out flyers and spreading the word. There hasn't been anything new since this happened other than him stopping home for 10 minutes, which just deepens the mystery.
