A very simple question that I have never seen an answer to is, "were the mirrors adjusted for a shorter driver"? The answer to that question would tell a story.

With what's happened in my life the last nearly year, I've not been able to drive much of the year. Probably six to seven different people have used my car during that time, taking me places, etc. While many have had to adjust the seat to some degree or another, I've only noticed the mirrors also being adjusted when I've then gotten in the car to drive maybe twice. In a year.

It may be that where my mirrors are set for how I sit just happen to be in a spot that ends up working for people taller and shorter both, or it may be that they're close enough, that, especially for short distances they've not adjusted them.

If RM's car was only driven a brief distance to the station, even if someone had to adjust the seat, it's highly likely (IMO) that the mirrors may not have also been adjusted - especially if they were trying to leave quickly.

My shorter friend that has driven my car the most absolutely would have to move the seat forward to drive, but could drive it without moving the mirrors. Again, just what I've noticed - as I actually thought about it two weeks ago when I got in the car after having to have been picked up at the hospital just a couple of days earlier - especially since observing it and thinking about it because of this case!

Exactly. Although not paid off, where'd they get the 150k+ (and I promise it was way more than 150k) to pay for the extensions?

It's why I keep wondering if he took money out of the safe. You know, the one I imagine is in the basement, in my mind.

Isnt that a medical condition? I think so.

Again, not sure what is ok to say, but there seems to be other properties belonging to a family "trust" in which IM is a trustee. Money doesn't seem to be an issue.

Someone posted a link to it. The fact that they didn't downsize after IM "lost" her job is perplexing to me being RM is an electrician. You are not affording that house making that kind of money. Add vacations to Italy and things like that, there had to be money issues..

Yes and they paid down a lot of their mortgage before refinancing.

Okay a couple of CRUMBS.....He has sleep apnea with a breathing machine up by the bed AND he had a REALLY NERVOUS ENERGY in the days before he disappeared.

These things were never mentioned before that I am aware of......

Ok, great. So, with knowing these things, it seems like IM was a smart business woman. I am in the legal field and deal with these things all the time. It looks to me as if she planned very well for the future.

The neighbor's video footage prompted Mayer's wife to search their home for clues. In a drawer, she found his cell phone, wallet and about $300 cash. All of the items had been with Mayer on the day of his disappearance, suggesting he or whoever had been driving his vehicle had placed them in the drawer.

You ask "why would you approach the person you didn't want them talking to???".

Again, looking at the verified insiders post, NCNY used pronouns. The first sentence explains the info regarding calls and texts were combed through.
NCNY's post also states all leads go nowhere with the phone.
So, to me, that means, My Interpretation, is that once they combed through RM's phone, they found info about calls and texts. My interpretation of EARLY ON means TO ME that after RM was found MISSING and AFTER the PHONE WAS COMBED THROUGH, they found out who RM was receiving calls and texts from, so MY INTERPRETATION is that IM confronted one of the people, which is a male, and that male, lied about being in touch with RM, ONLY to be found out that they were texting..........
Using the words Him and He, TWO conclusions can be made..........NOBODY knows WHO HE AND HIM ARE, UNLESS NCNY would come back to VERIFY WHO NCNY is talking about.
I am NOT saying it ISN'T RM. I am stating that reading what NCNY posted, it can be taken TWO different ways. I took it to mean that it wasn't RM that lied, but that is my thought process of how I personally perceived what NCNY posted.

So just to clarify....you believe the phone was gone through first and that's how they found person who IM didn't want RM talking to???? Then IM confronted them about texting RM???
