BBM - IIRC the early reports somewhere relayed that his wallet was found by 4pm Fri. June 14th. Now why it took another week to find the phone, I have no idea. I often wonder if it really did take another week or whether it was found right away + LE didn't care to have anyone aware of that. In other words, better to have it appear that the phone could still be with RM. JMO

I agree, I believe -contrary to what was said- the phone was found right away IMO. I base this assumption on the fact, that at one point a "rumor" was circulating that his phone was found which then was discounted as a rumor and labeled as miscommunication. IMHO
I suppose it's possible LE asked the family to withhold this information in order to be able to see if someone/who will try to contact him, or if RM is trying to call his own phone to see where he left it.
I can also imagine IM would wanted to keep it quiet for the very same reason.
I'm sorry, but I can't see that IM would find his wallet and money in one drawer
and would say to herself: oh let's wait with loking into all the other drawers a week".
I can't buy that.

All IMHO

Timeline/Recap from my notes and the FAQ from Valdemort:

14 June 2013 (Friday)

4:30 am - RM left for work (we think as IM was actually asleep)

9:00 am - RM & IM had a phone conversation - he used his company cell phone (iPhone 4S)

12:30 pm - I THINK was the last time he was seen at work by a co-worker. Can't find this info in the FAQs, so this is from my notes. ***What we don't know: no mention of if he was at the jobsite prior to 12:30 pm. *****Jobsite: 262 Ashland Place, Brooklyn, NY

1:45 pm - cell phone pinged at Melville, near Huntington. **Assume this is from RM driving on LIE enroute to house.

2:15 pm - At Arrow Scrap as witnessed by an employee of Arrow Scrap

2:41 pm - Red car seen from neighbor's camera. **Assume this is RM's car with RM arriving at house

2:45 pm - According to FAQ, this is when phone was shut off

2:51 pm - Red car seen from neighbor's camera. **Assume this is RM's car with RM leaving house

3:00 pm - IM's car caught on neighbor's camera pulling into driveway

4:00 pm - IM found RM's wallet in the garage along with the $300.00 cash **According to FAQ this was found in garage by IM after she realized RM was late coming home

6:30 pm - IM called her brother in law who is LE **From my notes, can't find in FAQ

15 June 2013 (Saturday)

1:00 am - IM reported RM missing - officially called LE **From my notes, can't find in FAQ

8:00 pm - friends of IM & RM found RM's car at Deer Park train station - near Tanger outlet mall where they were searching

21-22 June 2013 (One week later)

Found cell phone in drawer in garage as garage was thoroughly searched after neighbor's discovered RM's car on their camera

Thanks for this Windy.

I thought I read that RM usually takes Northern State. (?)

Also I thought the cash and phone were found a week later. The wallet was all that was supposedly found the first day. (?)

You're welcome!

That's what I thought, too, but a quote from the FAQ released 8-28:

"Rob’s wallet was found in the garage around 4pm on June 14th, after Ida realized he was late in coming home. At that time, $300.00 was also found in a drawer in the garage."

Bold was from FAQ

When asked if the area near Huntington where RM's phone was last pinged was searched, the reply was:

"We believe ping was just from him driving on LIE to come home....the last ping on the company phone (his only phone) was in Melville, (which is just North of the LIE on rte 110.)"

RM's jobsite address: 262 Ashland Place, Brooklyn, NY

Arrow Scrap address: 83 Keane St, West Babylon, NY

RM's home address: 23 Leroy St, Dix Hills, NY

Deer Park Train Station address: 1098 Long Island Ave, Deer Park, NY

Of Note: When asked about the phone ping and his job site it was stated: "robable route was 1-495East to 670 Pine Aire Drive Bay Shore New York 11706." Where did 670 Pine Aire Drive, Bay Shore, NY come into this?????

It would just help my thoughts about the parking situation at that particular lot. It has been told that the same spot where RM's car was found was a preference, in the past he always parked there. On the flip side, there is never enough parking available, so reported. I wonder what available parking is there at 3 PM, 9 PM or 2 AM. For me, that 'open spot' seems a bit too convenient to be available on a semi-early friday afternoon.

Maybe someone swapped cars? Just throwing out a thought. Don't know if it fits at all.

That I can't answer, but that same address takes you to Deer Park Train Station--actual address is for Hi Tech Business Solutions....

In the back of my mind I have thought and this is MOO
What if someone got ready, drove to the deer park train station, got on the train and headed to the jobsite, then drove the car back WITH RM, waited in the car at Arrow, dashed home quickly for who knows what, still in the car, then back to deer park, waved goodbye, picked up their own vehicle and left the car.
I know the whole theory is so full of holes :D

My notes:
6-14-2013
4:45 am leaves for work ? drive time to job site 41.46 miles 57 mins (arrives 5:45am?) work starts at 7 am....

9 am phone call with IM ?disconnected/dropped/hung up, no other calls to/from anyone for the rest of the day? Or nothing anyone considers significant? Last contact with the person IM had issue with?

12:30 pm at job site--stated seen by co-workers, the same co-workers who allegedly said two weeks later to check Arrow--which we know is not fact..when was first contact with Arrow by IM? Had to have been before end of June(before the two week time period). IM stated he 'looked scared and worried

1:45 pm on highway home ?drive time from site Drive from Ashland to 110 Melville/(20-30) mins. So he would have left work at 1ish?

2:15 pm at scrap yard (first stated no video, now stated he is on video appearing scared/worried)How long was he at the scrap yard? less then 26 mins, if he is on video at Arrow at 2:15 and a 'red car' is spotted at 2:41 close to his home
110 hwy to Arrow (24 minutes)
Arrow to home(20 Mins)

Does the phone not have any ping for an hour If he had 'someone' with him, there would be no need to call? Was it common for him to call and say where he was, like I'm here and will be home at such and such a time?

2:41 pm-top of red car seen close to his driveway
2:45 pm phone turned off
2:51 pm top of red car seen going down street Train station to home (8 mins)
3pm IM seen pulling into driveway

4 pm approx wallet and $300 found in drawer in garage(receipt from Arrow matching found a week later with the turned off phone?) It was known that day! or within a week! that he had been to Arrow...not two weeks. And who wouldn't check the other drawers in the garage upon finding that. on that day! June 14th!

Car is found locked, no keys, trunk is empty of all tools, his lunch pail which was stated usually kept there--ooopps trunk lock does not work(on his prized car), he would not leave items in trunk. So he had to carry his items in the passenger area or back seat.
So everything that is said so far, do we look at it 'backwards' per say?

I don't think we've put much effort into something nefarious happening to him at the station. From what you all have mentioned, if you wouldn't even go there at night, this is a real possibility. I wonder if there is a place that lists crime reports for this area?

From day one, I felt suspicious.
The whole story sounded suspicious to me. IMOO

The "facts" have changed so many times makes my head spin. Imoo

Phone, no phone, phone.
Arrow, no cameras.
Special spot at station.
No criminal activity.
HushHush, we need HELP, BUT we shut you all out.
Arrow, no cameras, oh wait there is a camera and he looks scared.
Missing, then endangered.
Nothing from Union "Brothers". Nada.
Family? AWOL. or are they?
Seat, wallet, tools, bike, club??????? IHNI
Trunk was emptied, but lock doesn't work?

Come on..................

all is my own opinion only.

:rollercoaster:
I will not go round and round anymore. :twocents:

I have been racking my brain for what happened to this man at 2:51, but your posts about the car possibly being dropped off at the train station at some time later is giving me a feel that the timeline we have been working with is really extended until the car was found the next day. Something transpired between 2:51 PM on Friday and Saturday when the was found. Someone could have dropped it off at 2:51 A.M. for all we know and that leaves a 12 hour window of possibilities..

The only activity there at night is very dangerous activity.

And there is a large homeless population at that train station IIRC---I am not accusing the homeless nor am I making a broad brush statement about the homeless. A question was raised threads back about the train station being a place where THE CARD was found b/c of the lack of security cameras. Do we know if LE spoke with any homeless people who may have seen something????

I was there 2 weeks ago on a Friday night. Had to pick up a relative that was arriving on the 9:21 PM train from Penn Station. The parking lot was full and the spots right in front (where RM's car was found) were all taken.
There were lots of cars waiting for the train to arrive from Penn, these cars were right in front along the curb. Scattered in the parking lot were groups of young people just hanging out around their racing cars. Also quite a few people on the platform waiting for the train going to Penn Station.

Welcome Djais-----thats interesting--did not know that young folks with racing cars hung out----RM's car may have taken their notice.

Could totally be McSpy----the specific spot at the train station seems to be some that was shouted to us from the start----RM's fave spot at the train station that he didn't like to park THE CAR at b/c there is minimal security.
Lets digest that y'all.
