Niagara Falls does have quite a bit of crime and is not a place a young girl should be alone (assuming she was alone).

Latisha Dennis said she got a text from her daughter at about 12:20 a.m. Sunday saying she was sorry she had missed a phone call from her mother and that she would try again the next day.
Especially when there were on return busses until morning. She would have had to find somewhere to go in the cold most of the night. She isn't old enough to go to the casino and not much is open that late. It is not the safest of areas both naturally and crime wise. Why would she leave at night taking a bus to...meet no one? I guess I'm assuming it's too much effort if you just want to be by yourself. You could do that closer to home, without getting on a bus. I have not put a huge amount of thought into it, however.
My opinion was that she would have traveled to Niagara Falls to go see the falls at night because they are magnificent and powerful and good for the soul.
I personally don't see the idea of her meeting someone as the only possible reason she would be in that location. Sometimes people like to do things alone. Either is a possibility. IMO
Absolutely. I don't at all think she went there to meet someone, there are much better places to meet. I think she went there because she was distraught and not planning to return. If she was going to meet someone there will be some kind of trail of communications. I get the feeling she went there with no intention of returning. Many people with suicidal thoughts still live life as usual until they choose the time. It may seem strange to others that someone would make future plans, hand in assignments ect but unfortunately in most cases that’s what happens. I’m really hoping she is just taking a break though.
Moo
IMO this isn’t likely. I live in a suburb of the falls and know the area well. If she took a bus, she would have to walk quite a way from the stop to a place where you can see the falls likeMy opinion was that she would have traveled to Niagara Falls to go see the falls at night because they are magnificent and powerful and good for the soul.

I must have missed where it was reported that she wasn't captured on camera? She made a snap of the falls, so she must have been where she could see them.IMO this isn’t likely. Terrapin point or the observation deck. If the borders were open it would be different because the bridge is well lit and well travelled and many many people walk across on nice weather but that night was not very nice at all and the wind and mist down there makes it 10 times worse. I took a little drive this morning to see where the bus stops were and there’s just no way I’d walk it alone from any of them at that time of night. Had she, a park ranger or one of the numerous cameras would have picked her up. There’s no way onto the island without going by a camera

Her first post made in Nov 2020 is of Niagara Falls at night. So she was been there at night before.
No. There are six photos, some very close to the water. The caption says they were taken on Nov 8 (posted two days later). The post has only a few likes and no replies originally.Does she say if she was with someone that time?

This article is dated 5/2. Is this something new? Yonkers?
It looks like the family doesn't want established true crime youtubers talking about her case, because they see it as profiting from their misery.
