Police said the incident involving the First Student bus company aide — identified as 37-year-old Devone Medlock — was first reported on Jan. 13. Detectives said Medlock "became physically and verbally abusive with multiple children who are special needs students."

I dont know why you would go into a job like that if you couldn't handle special needs kids. I doubt the pay was that attractive, so I doubt there was a huge financial motivation
