In Monster's Ball, Combs played Halle Barrey's husband on death roy. He had a role on Broaday in ARaisin in the Sun. And his reality show "Making the Band" created the girl group Danity Kane.

Johnny Cochrane represented Combs at the trial, just a few years after the O.J. Simpson trial. Ben Brafman was one of his other attorneys and is considered one of the very best defense attorneys in the country. He's worked with Combs since the 1990s.

Combs did not get permission from Sting and THe Police to sample "Every Breath You Take" -- and has had to pay A LOT in royalties. Also, "Every Breath You Take" is a generally understood to be a song about a stalker.

Judge Subramanian: Mr Agnifilo, your client was looking at jurors and nodding vigorously. This can't continue or I will give a limiting instruction you won't like, or other measures including barring your client from the courtroom. Do you understand?
Agnifilo: Yes

This sounds like intimidation or coercion. I've been on a murder trial, and if the defendant were doing this, I would not like it. I would feel very uncomfortable. It does not surprise me. I've been following this trial via X, and, as my momma would say, "He's something else."

The federal judge overseeing the sex trafficking trial of Sean "Diddy" Combs scolded his defense lawyers Thursday and warned he could be removed from the courtroom after he apparently made facial expressions at jurors.

U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian said it was "absolutely unacceptable" that Combs would try to interact with the panel during recent testimony.

"I was very clear there should be no facial expressions to the jury and I could not have been clearer," Subramanian said, adding that "there was a line of questioning where your client was nodding vigorously and looking at the jury."

"There should be no efforts to have any interactions with this jury," he added.
....
Courtroom artist Jane Rosenberg, who has had her eyes and binoculars on Combs for over a month, told NBC News that she has seen him making facial expressions both affirmatively and negatively depending on the testimony, and she has seen him attempting to interact with various members of the jury since the beginning of the trial.

This story contains graphic descriptions that some readers may find disturbing.

Jurors in Sean "Diddy" Combs' federal sex-crimes trial heard testimony from one witness who alleged he dangled her over a balcony – and another who said the former hip-hop mogul pressured her into having sex with other men.

I’m somewhat concerned that he will be pardoned by a certain president and be free to exact revenge. Hopefully that won’t happen.
I find this notion ridiculous , but in light of the pardon he gave to Todd & Julie Christley - not all that far fetched!! My head explodes every time I think about it. He literally said €£¥% you, to the Atlanta jury and legal system.

Also Tuesday morning, Subramanian denied the defense request for a mistrial following testimony last week from Bryana Bongolan, a friend of Cassie Ventura's.

The defense accused prosecutors of knowingly introducing what they said was false testimony by Bongolan, who told the jury that Combs dangled her from the balcony of Cassie Ventura’s 17th floor Los Angeles apartment in 2016. The defense argued that hotel receipts put Combs in New York at the time Bongolan testified the incident occurred. After the receipts were presented, Bongolan testified that the incident occurred but that she was unsure of the date.

“This is not fodder for a mistrial. This is the adversarial process at work,” Subramanian said from the bench.

It’s clear that he was forcing the freak offs on the women but I don’t think he will be charged with that because the women went along with it. They were intimidated, fearful and they were being supported financially by him. He knew what he needed to do to keep them around. The worst kind of mentally abusive mind games.

I’m curious about the ones that lasted a few days. How could he keep up, no pun intended? Turbo charged Viagra? Maybe the skin escaped brush burn because of the baby oil?

Judge upholds ruling barring disclosure of identities from January 2024 hotel encounter

Defense attorney Marc Agnifilo asked to put on the record the defense’s objection to a ruling Judge Arun Subramanian made in the robing room within the past hour. Subramanian offered to clear the courtroom so they could discuss the matter openly for Sean “Diddy” Combs to hear, but Agnifilo said that would not be necessary.

Agnifilo emphasized the importance of a public trial, noting that public proceedings can prompt members of the public to come forward with additional information about events described in court. He briefly referenced an encounter that Jane, one of Combs’ accusers testifying under a pseudonym, described in January 2024 in a hotel room.

Jane testified on direct examination that while she was separated from Combs in January 2024, she traveled to Las Vegas with an unnamed rapper and his friends for a birthday celebration. During the night, the group watched a woman have sex with the entertainer known as Antoine. Jane said she never had a sexual encounter with Antoine outside of her “hotel nights” with Combs. But when she and Combs reconciled in 2024, Combs accused her of cheating.

Agnifilo argued that the identities of those present at the January 2024 hotel room encounter should be revealed at trial. Assistant US Attorney Maurene Comey countered that naming the individuals would be an attempt to “harass and intimidate” Jane.

Subramanian said his ruling stands, noting that the January 2024 encounter is not among the alleged acts connected to the sex trafficking charges in Combs’ indictment.

But this is a lot of what trafficking is in a cliff notes definition. They are afraid and abused but appear to go along with it. That’s always the answer isn’t it?

To the 2nd point - several family related items lead me to believe that he was likely sexualized at a very young age. When this happens, as adults over sexualization sometimes an occurs where there is never fully satiation and go go go happens.
