@meghanncuniff

I’m looking forward to reading the transcript of Judge Subramanian’s explanation of Diddy’s sentence and which enhancements he applied and didn’t.

So many times judges’ explanation for their sentencing decisions don’t actually explain the decision at all.

Thank you so much @arielilane for keeping us up to date in such a timely fashion.

This thread just makes me want to swear. This odious abusive creep hasn’t got an ounce of regret or remorse.

And now he’s going to be out in no time at all. To pick up where he left off. As he showed, money buys anything you desire. And his desire is to abase women. Humiliate and abuse them.

Given his status, that he himself remarks on and seems very proud of, the court should have made him a very public example of how not behave. Instead the judge just gave a green flag to so many more like him.

Sickening.

I totally agree, should have been minimal of 10 years.

Evidently notoriety and money works. Sad

Not directed at you but this cookie thing is a turn off.
Probably not going to be around.

I’m so glad that someone mentioned it. I’ve mentioned but I would like to hear it from a Mod.

It’s this kind of travesty that changes nothing. We are supposed to be glad that he did get time, but that’s not the point. A crime of this magnitude only warrants the full amount of time. The victims still have to live with the trauma and more trauma now as a result of this injustice.

The judge had an opportunity to make a mark in the domestic and sexual violence scene. To bring it up to a higher level of scrutiny for justice sake. It’s disappointing.

very disappointed in the sentence
just shows the creep that he can get away with almost anything
at least his victory 'speaking/healing' tour will have to wait
