GUILTY NY - Sean "Diddy" Combs guilty re prostitution charges but NG of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking, 17 Sept 2024 #2

Someone did the math, I was close to being correct, based on time already served, SC sentence is going to be about 18 months.

He may get credit if he works in prison, good behavior, time off if he attends classes. And may even be eligible to leave earlier if released to a halfway house.

Disgusted now. That is barely anything.

Sean "Diddy" Combs has been sentenced to 50 months, which is just over four years, in prison for prostitution-related charges. He will receive credit for the 12 months he has already served since his arrest. So, 38 months or 3 years 2 months.

And the federal minimum of 85% for 38 months is 32 months, so it's 2 years and 8 months at least.

He will get additional credit for pre release if he works in prison, attends classes, and also if they release him to a halfway house for supervised pre release.

All sorts of ways to "game the system".

I would not be surprised but it remains to be seen.

Gross to think about but I’m wondering what kind of freak-offs he is having in prison.

So, a two-tiered justice system ?
Sean Combs received a slap on the wrist.
Sets a scary precedent for a criminal who committed multiple federal offences.
Not good at all.
Imo.

I think the prosecution is playing the long game and are planning to trip him up with his heavy 5 year probation, of which he could break it and then the feds get him back in jail.

Probation is brutal. Often it includes drug and alcohol testing, no firearms, your told who you can and can't associate with, can have curfew, have to get permission to leave the State, and so much more. The feds still have control over your life.

I think it likely that Diddy will flunk his alcohol or drug test or be out too late associating with people he isn't supposed to or take a private jet out of State without getting permission, or associate with felons and guns, etc...The prosecution will hound him for 5 years, the media/SM will look for parole violations and he will likely end up back behind bars.

If I turn out to be right I expect doughnuts ... LOL

Truth. Probation can be brutal. Depends on the PO. But if they want to follow it to the letter....SC will have a difficult time.

He can't pay any prostitutes, or coerce people into sex. Maybe he will finally get married.
