Jury's note says they're concerned one juror can't follow instructions

The note from the jury reads: “We have a juror, No. 25, who we are concerned cannot follow your honor’s instructions.”

The foreperson also asked to speak with the judge or that the juror be interviewed.

Judge Arun Subramanian is waiting on the bench, and he has not made a decision yet.

Oh boy
What kind of instructions do jurors generally need to follow? Does it change for each case?

@innercitypress

4:49 pm Combs has been brought back into the courtroom by US Marshals. His lawyers are gathered around looking at a piece of paper

Judge: We have two letters [notes] from the jury, if an individual asks for a controlled substance and the person hands it over, it is distribution? And the 2d says they will end at 5 pm. I suggest we respond by pointing to the jury charge

Juror No. 25: A 51-year-old male from Manhattan who has a Ph.D. in molecular biology and neuroscience. He listens to classical music and opera, and his hobbies include art, science, cooking and the outdoors.

Hmmmm…so is that a “can’t” or “won’t” follow instructions. He certainly seems smart enough to understand them.

Oh boy

No surprise. He is always going to win over people, some more than others but it’s going to happen. Some people who lack sound judgment and enjoy being in a famous person situation are thinking that this will somehow make them famous. They believe that they will be popular and tell everyone all about it. They will give interviews about his “innocence”. Sensationalism.

I’m still not convinced that he hasn’t made some kind of deal to pay at least a few jurors off. He has people working behind the scenes in multitudes. Sign an NDA, vote not guilty and get a house, yearly income, wipe out your debt etc. This is how this guy operates.

Judge Arun Subramanian is on the bench.

The jury sent a note at 10:15 a.m. asking for several transcript sections:

Cassie Ventura’s testimony regarding the InterContinental incident.
Ventura’s testimony concerns the events at Cannes and those that immediately followed.
Ventura’s testimony, if any, regarding interactions / “Freak Offs” with Daniel Phillip.
Phillip’s testimony regarding the Essex Hotel incident with Ventura.
The parties are reviewing the transcripts to identify excerpts that respond to the jury’s request
