Okay, now I'm reading that it's a fine or up to five years in prison for each charge, so maybe he can walk free with a fine.

The Federal Act imposes a punishment of imprisonment for not more than five years in a federal prison, or fine, or both for a person found guilty under the provisions of the Act.

I give up on possible penalties. Now someone is saying up to 20 years if the terms are served consecutively. So I've heard 2 to 10 on CNN, up to 20 on CNNs, and fines or up to five years on the website. So I have no idea what the results can be.

Though I'm going to guess time served and fines, because he's rich and famous and has always been locked up for 9 months.

Maybe the prosecution did not spell out exactly what "racketeering" is, and what SC did that applied to that statute. Maybe the jurors were not exactly clear on that.

that count was reportedly the one that jurors said they had a specific juror who they could not reach an agreement on a verdict for. At first I was thinking there was a lone holdout for not guilty on that charge. Now, based on the way the other charges were decided, I think they may have had one who wanted to vote guilty on that charge while the majority wanted to vote NOT.

Who knows, has anyone heard if the jury was polled?

I am hoping for the maximum on the two charges he was found guilty of.

Of all the terrible and shocking things that have transpired in the US over the last 10 years, the blatant skew of the legal system in favour of the rich and famous is, in my opinion, the most egregious.

Once the order of law is demonstrated to be tilted and toothless, it's a slow, downward trend towards chaos and vigilantism from there.
