Human remains found in Wayne County

The Wayne County coroner was called to a wooded area in Milanville after State Police with their K-9 units made the discovery.

A thorough recovery of the skeletal remains was performed by forensic anthropologists over the course of two days.

The remains appear to have been there for close to 20 years and are believed to belong to a middle-aged white female. The coroner is working to establish positive identification through further testing of the bones. Complete forensic testing is being performed by multiple labs across the country.

Police believe the woman was a victim of foul play. More information will be provided as it becomes available as the investigation continues.

Are you thinking this UID could be SH? I see the UID was found in Pennsylvania. What are your reasons for thinking of SH in particular?

@TootsieFootsie I'm also curious why you appear to have correctly anticipated Selina's remains would be found in Wayne County, Pa. Did a serial killer make a generalized confession you matched up?

Hi evilwise!

I put Milanville into WS search and this thread came up.

I'm not from the US and don't know a lot of places mentioned in the US.. I do know quite a few but there's heaps I don't.
Hey I don't even know some of the places here in Australia. Anyway this time this thread came up so I didn't do the usual search of distances from where the person was last seen.

So nothing like me having insider knowledge or anything like that.

Missing Narrowsburg woman’s remains point to murder

The Wayne County Coroner’s Office has determined the manner of death to be homicide.

“While the primary cause of death is inconclusive due to the span of years between death and discovery, and complicated by advanced decomposition to skeletal remains, the evidence affirms that this death was inflicted by another person.”
