Lucie Van Heeckeren, 49, of Cabin John was last seen on Sunday, July 21 at her residence on the 8100 block of Riverside Avenue, according to police reports. Van Heeckeren, a 5-foot-8,120-pound white female with teeth in poor condition, has schizophrenia, according to police.

I wonder if Lucie was located in 2002. When did she move to the hospital in Westchester County (and why the distance?) and was she ever reported missing there?

Lucie's elder brother Daniel died in 2020. In his obituary, Lucie is mentioned as a sibling, but there is no mention about her being missing.

IMO Lucie managed to check herself out of the hospital and she wandered away. Maybe that's why I can't find a mpr from the hospital itself. I wonder if she became homeless and succumbed to natural causes or the weather.
