Wondering if that's not the same killer that left Christine Belusko on Staten Island in 1991, her remains were still smoldering. Have always suspected Rex Heuermann murdered Christine. This Doe's age, height, weight, hair coloring with the reddish=brown... all the same as Christine's. The weight's slightly less with this Doe, but only slightly. Christine found Sept 20 1991, she'd been there about a day. So she'd have been killed more than a couple of weeks after Labor Day that year. I'm seeing the drive time between the location where Christine was found and this Doe's location is less than 15 mins via Hylan Blvd. I'd swear that's the same killer. Christine was last known to be at the Mt Airy Lodge at Mt Pocono (no longer there). Based on something I remember seeing in Heuermann's logs which were made public at some point as part of a legal document-- along with the good hunting in PA-- I'd guess he's been to PA. Christine's last known address was Clifton NJ.

Barbara Elizabeth Miller
30yo 5'2"-5'4" 115-140lbs July 1 Sunbury PA, on her way to attend a wedding, nobody seems to know if she made it there
Sunbury an hour and a half to Mt Pocono, 3 hrs to Staten Island; like Christine, she has a tattoo

Francia Altragacia Pena
31yo Aug 1988 , 5'3"-5'4" 115-130 NY NY
Hair's listed in the posting here as black, looks brown/red in the image of her

Brenda S. Bottoms
22yo June 29 1987 Springfield IL Bottoms left home for a nearby tavern and never came back, witness said he saw her get into a brown car with two men that night.

This death was a drowning, probably accidental: UP6955

Can't get into that article, but it says definitely drowning? That's not on Namus. It does say found on rocks, though. It might well be a drowning, but finding the coincidences with Christine Belusko pretty weird and wouldn't be positive that's what it was.

Checking Doe Network. Cause of death unknown here, too.

So probably just a whale of a coincidence. Although decomposition could mask signs of struggle, and they may have been minimal with a hulking perp. Am wondering if that's why the other current sources have causer of death unknown.

She has all the same characteristics as the 1991 Doe IDd as Christine Belusko. But at the same time, no attempts to mask that murder, the victim had been set on fire. She'd been brutally beaten, handcuffed, AND a hammer left at the scene.

Heuermann probably just engaged or getting engaged in Sept 1989, the wedding was I believe in Sept 1990. And they were (I think?) divorced like 1992/93 (at least separated), so in Sept 1991, my guess is things probably weren't going well for Rex.

Might just be a coincidence regardless. Much thanks on the article, I can't get it.

RIP for this Doe.
