They could not explode. I don't and haven't celebrated anything about this nor have I have excused those who seek to terrify. You are free, however, to describe me in any terms you see fit within your own imagination.

I did not see one ''description'' of anyone in that. Just facts about the bombs and the opinion that they shouldnt be dismissed because they didnt go off.[/QUOTE]
Your reference (description) to being callous. At this point, it's of no consequence.

These kind of discussions will lead to no discussions at all because the thread will be shut down. It always happens because some people just cannot have a civilized discussion without taking it to a personal level.

I think everyone is aware what the motive is. I’d love to see this thread not being closed to follow the investigation, trial dates, etc.

Just sayin‘...

So its allowed to talk about muslim radicalization but not in-house US radicalization?

Cesar Sayoc Politics: Voter Records Say He’s a Republican

He registered as a GOP voter 11 days before the 2016 Florida primary

2016 show the Florida man attending pro-Trump rallies, where he often sported a red Make America Great Again hat and — at times — posed with Trump-Pence campaign signs. Sayoc is a registered Republican in Miami-Dade County and listed as an "active" voter, according to Florida voting records.

I don’t know, I haven‘t followed a muslim bombing thread yet. I‘m just talking about my experience with these discussions. Threads usually get shut down when the bickering begins.

Sayoc was arrested in 2002 for threatening to bomb a Florida utility company, CNN reports.

He said it would be “worse than Sept. 11,” according to Miami police reports seen by the network.

He allegedly called Florida Power and Light and threatened to blow up the building if his lights were shut off, in addition to threatening an employee with bodily harm.

Sayoc had been arrested a total of eight times, according to CNN. One arrest was for possession of a stolen vehicle in North Carolina in 1999, a spokeswoman for the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office told the network.

Another arrest was for trying to walk out of a Walmart with a shopping cart filled with $239 worth of merchandise, according to NBC News.

Regardless of his political beliefs, he's clearly a nut. What sane person would cover their vehicle in stickers like that? Yikes. I wonder if he's been on LE radar in the past just for that?
Unfortunately, I live in an area where that is common. Actually all of central Florida.

There's something drastically wrong with the "reply" option - it mixes quotes and confuses who has written them.

he has an extensive criminal record and has been shown that he made violent threats against others on twitter because of political beliefs

JMO but I think the crazy came first and he channeled it into his political beliefs. It added fuel to the fire, so to speak. According to the criminal records of his I've seen, this stuff has been going on for many years.

accountability needs to be had. Its what people have been saying about muslims needing to denounce their own kind radicalizing others, same here needs to be done. There is no argument what the motive was. He literally has crosshairs on pictures on his van.

Is your point that it exonerates those political beliefs?

Sayoc's Facebook page is full of pictures and videos of him attending MAGA rallies. (Facebook)

I've seen vehicles covered with stickers like that, and not just about politics or in support of any one specific viewpoint. (Recently I saw a small SUV wallpapered in stickers supporting National Parks.. wut). It's a form of expression. One I find tacky and sometimes repugnant, but people do it.

Billionaire Democratic donor Tom Steyer said a suspicious package addressed to him was intercepted at a mail facility in Burlingame, CA.

Steyer said in a statement:
...
"We are seeing a systematic attack on our democracy and our rule of law that extends much further than just one isolated terrorist in Florida. Whether it’s voter suppression, voter intimidation, attacks on our free press, gerrymandering, or attempted violence -- the trust and norms that are the actual basis for our civil society and political system are being eroded. It’s time for the Republican Party to denounce any attacks on the rights and dignity of any American and begin to work on building the broadest and most comprehensive democracy possible for each and every American.”

“$500,000 Soros Puppet” states one Twitter post, with a photo identified as Andrew Gillum, the Democratic candidate for Florida governor.

Another post attacks David Hogg, a graduate of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, who became a prominent gun-control activist in the aftermath of the shooting at the school.
