GUILTY NY - Tiffany Jackson, 33, beaten to death, Buffalo, 1 March 2008

WGRZ reports that the body of an unidentified woman was found in a trash can on Best St. in Buffalo on Saturday afternoon. Police seek Eric Sykes, of Sweeney St. in Buffalo, for questioning.

Buffalo Police have arrested Eric Sykes, 31, of Buffalo charging him with second degree murder. He is accused of killing previously unidentified Tiffany Jackson, 33, of Buffalo and placing her in a blue garbage tote.

Sykes was arrested in Rochester and brought back to Buffalo. He is currently at the Erie County Holding Center. Police say he will be arraigned on Wednesday.
