Search underway for missing Chemung County man
A family, along with Elmira Police are on the search for 46-year-old Timothy Weiskopf. He was last seen on Tuesday, Nov. 6 in the Elmira/ Horseheads area.
A relative of Weiskopf said in a public Facebook post friends, family and co-workers were not able to locate him after that date. The relative added Weiskopf drives a Black Volkswagen Jetta with license plate number, JAL 8908. A missing-persons flyer mentioned the vehicle as a 2008 model.
He has tattoos on his arms and is known to wear glasses. He also suffers from high-blood pressure and transient ischemic attacks, a form of a stroke.
