Seeing these myspaces makes it so much worse for me, for one there are no pictures of this poor little girl which says a lot. They were very proud of the other kids but what about her? What did she do to deserve this! My heart is completely broken for this baby.

Amanda, I agree with you. Where are the pictures of Tkai's birthday party, her pretty dress, and her birthday crown? What the heck, how could parent/step-parents single out one child like that? There are so many question's running through my brain. Tkai's death and short life are very disturbing to me.

I know, usually after read horrible things on here I try to put them out of my mind but this little girl stays with me. I cant stop thinking how she felt watching them love the other kids and leave her with nothing. I just wanna scoop her up and hug her so bad and show her how much even strangers could love her but nooooooo her father took that chance away from her.

On Friday, a Brooklyn man was sentenced to 18 years in prison for scalding his 3-year-old daughter with bathwater before beating her to death with a cane.
Jason Marcelle was convicted of fatally beating daughter Tkai in December 2007 in front of her three young siblings at their Bedford-Stuyvesant apartment in Brooklyn. She was pronounced dead within an hour after being taken to a local hospital

Is that 18 years a fixed term, or with parole? If he gets out in 5 years or so, what other little child (or adult) is he going to beat to death?
