FYI Angelika Graswald 20/20 ABC interview will be on November 6, 2015 at 10 pm on ABc. The Judge had ordered a gag on all involved but Angelika. Her Attorney Richard Portale was not to be present.

When asked about her shocking statements to the police in her interrogation, Graswald explains she was misunderstood. In response to her comments about wanting to be free from Vince, she told "20/20," "What I meant was I wanted to be free from the lifestyle that we had, the, the nightlife, the strip clubs, the threesomes. I didn't want any part of that, I wanted to be free from that. But as far as he goes, I wanted to be with him."

To pass the time, she said she has joined a Bible study, attends school, and sends letters and drawings to her family back in Latvia. She wants people to know, "I'm not, I'm not a killer. I'm a good person."

Hi all, first post on this thread. I look forward to seeing this interview. This case if very rare for me - it's one that I've done a complete 180 on. I admit, I at first fell for the LE/DA/media's portrayal/account of Graswald as an evil killer, hook, line, and sinker. But after more of the facts about the length of the interrogation came out and some of the other facts of the plug, the circumstances of the icy water, and some other things, I have almost completely changed my mind. I'm not 100% convinced she's completely innocent, but I do know, where I a member of the jury, there is no way I could convict - there is more than a boatload - or pardon the expression - at least, a kayakful, of reasonable doubt here, IMO. I'm pretty surprised they are still pursuing this, honestly.

Anyone else watch? I agree that just removing the drain plug and tampering with the oar ring wouldn't have necessarily caused the capsizing. But I wish they had experimented with a smaller woman trying to manually flip a kayak in rough seas with an intoxicated larger man. I didn't find her convincing at all in her interview with Vargas.

Any kayaker have insight on how easy it would be to capsize someone from another kayak?

I watched and still believe she is being railroaded. She might not have responded in way others **think** she should, but the interrogation in which she supposedly confessed was extremely long, demanding and the officers did their best to get her to say what they wanted to hear. And there is no official record of her supposed confession to an officer on Bannerman's Island.

What do I really think is going on here? She is a young, extremely attractive foreigner, who said and did the wrong things at the wrong times. Did she purposely kill Vincent or not attempt to save him without getting herself killed? No, plain and simple.

I actually thought the investigators were pretty tame in the snippets we saw. It's hard to tell without seeing the whole thing. One thing that struck me was that some of those incriminating comments came relatively early in what was a long interview. I pictured her being harangued for ten hours and them coming at the end, but that didn't seem to be the case.

I heard the statements she made and in none of them do I hear her say she killed them. Wanting someone to die and actually killing him are 2 different things.

Her charges are inappropriate and I don't think they can even prove the appropriate charges for her.

Virtually impossible, especially given the conditions on the river that day.

That's my guess too- or if not just watching, that she tried to help, but not wholeheartedly. Which matches what she said in interrogation....that part of her wanted to save him and another part wanted him to die, and what she posted on FB...that she should have paddled harder.

IMO he caused his own death- --inexperienced paddler, drinking, bad choice to be on the river given very cold and rough waters, no skirt on to keep water out of the boat, and no life jacket.

Prosecutors are going to be hard pressed to prove her guilty of anything.
