NYC, NJ, LA - 33 - Kristian Tadlock, aka Kristian Iman King

Generally I'm a boots on the ground volunteer. Now that I have a little one and more on the way, I'm limited to keyboard pounding and phone calls. So i'm not very good at this part and any help outside of the guides would be greatly appreciated.

I'm helping a family in New Orleans locate their cousin, Kristian Tadlock/ Kristian Iman King, aka, Kirstin Tadlock whom they haven't heard from in a little over a year and a half. Kristian is a transman, and chose the name Kristian. He moved to the NY, NJ and from what I understand was up here in upstate NY as well -- which is how I came into the picture. I have taken some time to post here as most trans folks prefer to live stealth and until I was sure he wasn't running from family that may not agree with his lifestyle. I was able to confirm that this is not the case and I have been in contact with a friend of his. The last time they heard from Kristian was right after an arrest that occurred in Atlantic City, New Jersey 1/3/23 and indictment went in 10/3/23. I was able to locate the arrest and charges, however it does not give me a conclusion on his case. He was arrested with 2 other folks, one of which is not in the system and the other who did not skip court and is now in prison for a gun charge. In one document it shows that a bench warrant was put on him for missing the court date, but then it was dismissed in 2/01/2024. All his social media is quiet, truth finder led me to the arrest and associated email for social media. It turns out we had 2 friends in common in the Syracuse area and they also have not heard from him since before the arrest in 1/3 in Atlantic City.

I'm officially stuck. I thought about calling the prosecutor but he's only listed as last name and it seems there's more than one in ATL city. I was able to find the court case for the person serving his sentence for the gun charge and I found the prosecutor there, but i'm unsure if I would be able to question if others were associated with the case. What about the arresting officer? I think I was able to locate his name, but i'm still looking for his present location.

I just need some guidance on where to go from here. I believe they have already created a missing person's case, but i'm unsure if this information was made available in NamUS --

The prosecutor won't likely give out case information over the phone unless you are Kristian's attorney or legal representative, so personally I wouldn't spend a lot of time on that.

New Jersey and New York don't have the best online systems for searching cases (New Jersey is the worst of most states that allow online searching) Sometimes you can find the case, and number but the outcome is usually not there and no court documents are included to view. I have also seen cases NOT in there, where I know there is a case number assigned (something I was working on in my job). In Kristian's case there is NO record in the public judiciary system for a case in New Jersey. That doesn't mean there wasn't an arrest, but there's nothing in the online database (I also checked under Iman King and all versions of the last names) There is a Kristiann with two "n" close in age, but that person is a different race.

My biggest concerns -- he identifies as trans, is on HRT but his paper work has not been amended and his arrests are showing F --

I should add the family was told by some "friend" in their home town of New Orleans that he had not only returned to New Orleans but he also OD'd in New Orleans and was undiscovered for 30 days. His family does not believe this story, as they are close and he would have mentioned his return. Family has already checked all unclaimed and unidentified in New Orleans/LA and spoken with their local ME --

That explains my lack of findings. As Kristin, I found an old arrest with a booking photo in LA from 9-18-2015. The only reason I mention (and am including the link so the mods retain this post) is it shows a county in LA where the charge occurred. Brilliant, looks like I've got more homework. I've been hoping that he's in a transition limbo legally and if an inmate, probably not in general population. Not sure on NJ laws for this if this was the end result.

*I want to continue to raise concern on the little over a year no communication with family, friends and social media activity.

Most recent cases in ATL -- the 1-3-2023 appears to be the arrest there and the indictment status is as Trans-- is that transferring case between jurisdictions, courts? As GraceG mentioned before, no conclusion available.

The booking from the County is 10 years old, don't know how long they maintain the records. I'm curious. I've always had trouble finding Parish court records in the state of Louisiana without paying a fee. Do you mind sharing what judicial/court site you used, as it would be helpful in the future. Thanks!!

I was able to locate more social media accounts associated with Kristian and a blog of his writing. This covers his tracks until June 6th, 2022. I am unsure if it would be okay to post the social media accounts and pages I have found. I don't want to just put this person's life out there and if they are trying to hide for any reason. They are searchable, his accounts all link each other.

I work at a law firm and they pay for the subscription but yes you have to usually pay for our parish records. You can PM me if you need to look at soemthing.
