I hope they catch him soon. There have also been cases of people setting homeless men on fire while they sleep. I just don’t understand why someone would do that…fortunately.

The video is graphic (not gory) and shows the gunman casually walk by, return and kick the sleeping man with his foot, then shoot him at point blank range. To me, the killers long legs and walk should make him recognizable to someone.

New York City police have offered a $10,000 reward for help finding a person who shot two sleeping homeless men, one fatally, in Lower Manhattan early Saturday morning.

Police believe the suspect in Sunday's attack was also responsible for Saturday's shootings, one of which was fatal as well. Both of those victims were shot in Manhattan between 4:36 a.m. and 6 a.m. Saturday.

I'd be shocked if he wasn't apprehended really soon. His image is out there, and NYC has incredible surveillance capabilities. It's gotta be just a matter of time before someone identifies him, or law enforcement is able to figure it out.

Yes, he doesn't even look like he is trying to hide it when he is attacking. He is either very drunk/high or mentally ill. Possibly both. JMO

He might be, but he's wearing gloves, which shows that he has an understanding of forensics, and is thinking ahead.

While I am aware that there are many differences and we don’t know very much about this offender, but his brazenness in addition to the fact that he appears to be targeting the homeless/underserved immediately made me think of Aeman Presley. (O/T, but the First 48 episode that featured Presley’s case is worth watching if you have the opportunity. He was apprehended quickly, but how he got nabbed so fast is unique. I’ll leave out the details so I don’t spoil it for anyone)

The NYPD initially believed that the death of a homeless man found with a wound to his right leg in TriBeCa on Sunday evening was related to the serial killer, but sources told FOX 5 News that investigators were leaning towards a drug overdose as a cause of death. The NYPD released photos of the person they believed targeted homeless men in two shootings Saturday.
