I hope you can find a picture of her - I'd love to see her! How long have you had her?
You're right...they're always on alert! Mine have to check out every sound they hear.
Funny how the prospect of posting pet pictures will force me out of lurking.
I recently found a kitten outside of my office. As I work on the corner of Glenwood and Creedmoor road, there was no way that I could leave him there. I've had cats all my life but I found myself cat-free after having the cat that I'd had for 22 years and another kitty that I adopted during Hurricane Floyd succumb to renal failure about 6 months apart from each other. I got suckered into "fostering" a kitty with FIV and he passed away last Thanksgiving so I spent my day off burying him in the woods.
SO the last thing that I wanted was another cat. The last thing my dog wanted was another cat. I swore this kitten was going to the shelter as soon as Saturday came and I didnt have to work. Then I put it off a week as he was a little feral and I wanted to make sure that he'd be adoptable and not euthanized. Ya....he was adoptable...by me!
Whilst others have described their animals as angels in fur coats, I would not use that term for Dexter. (maybe I shouldn't have named him after a psychopath??) He is a horrible thief AND a serial mouse killer. Every morning I wake up to find all his toy mice floating in Savannah's water dish. (and every now and then I'll find a very wet mouse next to my bed...nothing like stepping on that before your first cup of cofffe)
Savannah who will drink from the nastiest puddles you've ever seen will not drink from a dish with mouse "corpses" in it. (I guess you have to draw the line somewhere, I'd draw it at mud puddles and algae, but to each their own)

Finally they learn to share:

Dexter trying to find/steal the Blizzard Authenticator. (I have a WoW addiction and in order to protect my account I have this key chain authenticator...it must be dipped in catnip cuz Dexter is enthralled by it) The authenticator is in the left hand corner and he knew that I'd put it up on that shelf.

Does anyone remember seeing a Jeep Laredo in a media clip or still photo at BC home prior to this week? I recall seeing it and can't locate it.
No, gray one. Positive it is gray...just trying to put together who's it is at BC's.Dark colored one - black or brown ? I recall seeing a dark vehicle in a clip but couldn't tell you if it was a Jeep Laredo or not.

I guess I should clarify it is med to dark gray.Sorry - dunno on that one. NC plates on it ?

I could only get the 1st 3 letters on it. Oh well, I will keep looking.
This is what I am getting at...."this vehicle tells us who was barking the orders." I've seen this vehicle there before, but can't remember if it was when I went by or another scene playing out while the media was present. The last time it was parked in the driveway, not the garage.Mom, I saw the car too. It looked brown on my laptop screen when watching the clip. Probably one of BC's relatives (if he has any that care) or whoever was "barking orders" to the movers. Maybe it's Jason Lynn Young come for a visit to check things out. He needs to fill his storage hut in the mountains.![]()
When Brad and Nancy lived in their home in Cary in the early years there was a car in the garage that looked like a "jeep" kind of car. Refer back to the photos (somewhere) along the time when Nancy was sitting on the sofa "walking the dogs" in the garage. I'm not sure.
Fast forward to now: Why they would park in the garage when the movers were here is my question. Unless--some of BC's family was there and it's their car.
K&B will both be trading in their buggies for new digs after a few more Brad Cooper types of jobs. K&B would look appropriate in a 1972 Oldsmobile with curb feelers and a set of steers horns on the hood. Must not be their car.
