Columbus police are investigating after three women were found dead with gunshot wounds inside a home on the city's south side Saturday afternoon.

According to Sgt. James Fuqua, officers were called to the 1300 block of South Ohio Avenue, near Karns Park and just off Thurman Avenue, just before 4 p.m. to investigate what a 911 caller had described as a medical event.

Fuqua said someone reported finding some of their friends inside a residence in medical distress. When officers got there, they contained the scene and medics pronounced three women dead at 4 p.m.

In an update released on Sunday, police said that all three women had been shot and killed. The identities of the women have not yet been released.

Police are still working to learn what led up to the incident.

No suspects have been taken into custody at this time.

The apparent slayings occurred less than a week after a shooting Tuesday in the state’s capital, when a 45-year-old man was found in the yard of a local home suffering from a gunshot wound.

Mr. Graham was arrested for the murder of a man last week, who was a roommate of the three women found dead Saturday. Mr. Graham has not been charged in the deaths of the three women at this time. See link in post #3 above.

All of this violence so close to the holiday. Families that observe it will likely always think of their deaths during this time. I believe he or his accomplice shot the women to get rid of any possible witnesses.MOO

Saturday's shooting that left three women dead -- 49-year-old Dawn Clover, 34-year-old Sierra Muse, and 36-year-old Tiffany Parrish -- in a home on South Ohio Avenue, is connected to another homicide from several days earlier in that the man who was killed then, Darrel Hambrick, lived in the same house on South Ohio Avenue.
