Mom says Everything Is Ok?
Was there a fight of somekind?

To me it seems MOM feels she ran way.
I hope this is true.

Where was mom that night she vanished?
did she have a fight with step-dad?

Or she could mean it in the 'come home, you're not in trouble for leaving' type of way.

I joined Websleuths just to say this! I grew up in the area, very very close (the street she went missing from was at the end of my small street). This statement did not concern me at all. Here's why:

There is a very small wooded area and a shallow, slow moving stream behind most of the houses on Roadoan. It's very likely she walked her dog there because there's nothing separating property and the park.

The park, even though it's wooded, is not a place anyone could get lost in long. It's small and everyone knows that right up the hill in the park is the police department. On the other side is the football stadium and two schools that were shut down this fall I've heard police have checked them and that makes sense. It's one of the first places I'd check. If she found the school or the football stadium, she'd know how to get home. If she followed the park east, she'd end up at the library. Everyone knows how to get home from there too. Finally, if she went west, she'd end u back where she came from.

The creek behind her house is typically VERY shallow and slow moving. It would be pretty hard to get into trouble there. The banks aren't even really steep.

Brooklyn is a very small town. It's 4 square miles. They have a small but excellent police force. Cleveland and Parma often help when extra help is needed. It is so close to Cleveland and Parma (another big city) that it wouldn't be impossible for someone to pick her up. I am sure the police are working all those angles.

It's hard not to judge in situations like this, but please try not to.

I am wrong. She lived on the other side of the street. That means behind her house there was an alley. But not a dark scary one you see on tv. It's just a one way street where people can park their cars. It's very safe for kids to walk down and I did from about the time i was 9- when I moved out of the town.

The houses in Brooklyn are VERY close together. A struggle would be heard if there was one. I remember that as a kid, with the windows closed and with the other neighbors doors closed, I could still hear their mom yelling at her kids.

Other people have mentioned about the case being very tight lipped. That's how the Brooklyn Police operate. There aren't a lot of them so it's easier for stuff not to leak.

Local rumor (unsubstantiated) is that she is in a town about 30 miles west. I can not say that is true or untrue but the rumor mill in small places can really get going.

I think it would be almost impossible for something to happen in the area behind her house without anyone hearing it. My opinion only.

From local Facebook group Help Bring AB home:
Whoever is in charge of this group needs to make a pinned post that stays at the top of the page to include the details to avoid repeat questions (or i will keep bumping this post)

*police/fbi have checked her social media and phone records
*she has a phone but its been turned off
*nobody knows if she left willingly or unwillingly
*there or no solid leads or she would have been found.

So now they say she is a runaway!

I thought that as soon as mom and step dad kept saying come home everything will be ok.
I hope they find out why she ran.
I said earlier I wonder of there was a fight!
And I don't think it was with MOM!

I was suspicious from the start. I lived very close (within a mile) to where A lives. There is no way there could have been any outdoor commotion with neighbors not hearing. To be honest, I think I shared before I lived a few streets away and the houses were so close my neighbors could hear my mom yelling at me even if we both had all our windows closed.

I feel very bad for her family. I am also worried about how long it's been that A hasn't made contact. It's starting to get colder and if she's camping out somewhere I'd be worried about her being outside much longer.

Her Find A facebook page has become more restricted and someone suggested not advertising where upcoming searches would be in case she or a captor sees it.

Unless it was awhile before, sounds like not the day of...seems like she'd been planning it for quite some time based on this?

“At this time, while her location is yet unknown, several pieces of credible information suggests that A had made plans to run away. She had clearly informed friends and extended family members of her intention, but did not offer any solid information as to her intended destination,” Brooklyn Police Chief Scott Mielke said in a news release on Monday.

I wonder if she told anyone why she wanted to run away? Obviously there is a problem.
I hope she is found d safe and sound.

Considering it sounds like a decent number of people knew, you'd think at least one or two probably pushed and asked - now whether she told them or told them the truth we probably won't know, but it'd be shocked if no one knows why.
