Yeah, but why would HER attorney want to delay the divorce hearing? Even if he did want to delay it for some reason, surely he could have come up with a legal reason for a delay rather than killing his own client.

‘We will be going to trial’: Attorney denies killing Aliza Sherman, vows to fight charges

Gregory Moore pleaded not guilty Wednesday to murdering his client, Aliza Sherman, ahead of her divorce trial in 2013. His bond was set at $2 million.

This trial should be interesting to follow. Based on news reports of the initial investigation, there seems to have been at least one co-conspirator involved in Aliza's murder. Prosecutors haven't said much about that lately. Her family should make sure her murder is fully investigated. So relieved they're finally seeing some justice for their mother. JMO

“After the crime happened, this defendant was aided by people who then tried the next morning to get rid of the electronic means that he used,” he said. “Twenty-one minutes of video footage were missing from inside the building that should have captured this crime but didn’t.”

Filiatraut also pointed out that a voicemail left by Sherman with the Stafford office was deleted before police could access it.

It sounds like others were involved in planning and/or carrying out this murder. That fits with news media reports shortly after the murder.
