4-month-old kidnapped during car theft in northeast Columbus, police say

The baby's mother was dropping off another child at the daycare and left the car running, according to police. Officers say two suspects took the car with Alpha Kamara in the backseat.

Police are now searching for a 2008 maroon-colored Acura MDX with Ohio plate "JBF 7637." Kamara was reportedly wearing navy pants and a shirt that says "My Little Cutie."

Baby's name is Alpha Kamara. Can we have the title edited?

Strange that she would leave a baby inside a car that’s running.

If it’s someone seeing an unplanned opportunity they would just ditch the car up the road after seeing the baby.

Is that the normal thing she does at daycare everyday? Leave the baby inside the running car alone or was that the first time?

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — The search is on for a missing 4-month-old after the infant was reportedly abducted during a car theft in northeast Columbus Tuesday morning.

The kidnapping happened at the Kindercare at 1955 Tamarack Circle North around 8:30 a.m., police said.

Take a look at the map. At first I thought it was a odd place for a car theft, but there are apartments and businesses all around the daycare.
But what are the odds that two people would happen upon a car at a daycare?

Police say the vehicle and child were found in the area of North Ohio Avenue and Hildreth Avenue. That’s more than 11 miles from where the child was taken. The child is being taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital for precautionary reasons.

Thank goodness the 2 women recognized the car and rescued the baby!

MOO it won't take long to identify and apprehend the 2 men. They left the vehicle they drove to the pre-school in the parking lot
