Here is another beautiful child killed by Mom and Step-dad. Her biological father tried to get custody and reported what he thought was abuse to child protective services who report there was not enough evidence to warrant removal of the little girl.

Sierra Day’s trial date is now set for Dec. 3.

Day, 24, was arrested in March along with her boyfriend Deonte Lewis, 27, following the death of Day-Garrett.

Lewis’ trial date is scheduled for Dec. 12 according to court records.

Both are currently in jail on $1 million bonds.

Sierra Day, the mother of Aniya Day-Garrett, along with her boyfriend Deonte Lewis are scheduled to appear in court Tuesday after being indicted in connection to the 4-year-old’s murder.

The trial is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.

Investigators say Aniya was severely underfed and had burns and bruises all over her body when paramedics removed her body from her mother's Euclid apartment.

The medical examiner ruled that she died after suffering serious head trauma.

The bolded part got me. That poor, helpless child. Hopefully, we'll at least see justice done for her. I wish she'd had someone to help her when she was alive.
It must be traumatizing to be part of this jury and hear the things they've heard.

Mom, boyfriend guilty of aggravated murder in death 4-year-old Aniya Day-Garrett

Sierra Day, 24, and Deonte Lewis, 27, were found guilty of aggravated murder, murder, felonious assault, permitting child abuse, endangering children and tampering with evidence.

They will be sentenced on March 20 at 12:15 p.m.
