I'm just trying to decide if concealed means she was hidden by a person, or maybe it means she was concealed so we didn't see her on the first pass through the restaurant.

If indeed she went into the walk in cooler (if they have one), around 5pm, she might have not been able to open the door again (they are heavy and when the fan is running, they practically seal up). If she tried with no luck, maybe she crawled into a box to stay warmer.

The restaurant just looks so small of an operation to have a walk in like that. (JMO. They could have one still.) I'm so sick that she is deceased and I hope no one harmed her. Such sad news.

Accidental death (possibly from neglect) cover up?

I REALLY want to know where, in the restaurant Ashley was concealed. I'm so sorry this happened to you, sweet girl.

I worked in a small ice cream shop, as narrow as this one looks. There was a pretty good sized walk in freezer in the back. They don't have to be huge, it had a few shelves, large enough for me to turn in circles with arms out and not bump into anything.

I don't love this though.

Thanks.

I'm trying too picture a freezer that a missing child could go unnoticed in for nearly 24 hours. My mind can't wrap around it being possible in a small walk in. That doesn't mean it didn't happen, of course. I just can't picture it.

I have a bad feeling about this one and I hope I'm so completely wrong.

Wouldn't the police have searched every inch of the restaurant and more so walk in freezer if they have one?

I would surely think so.

You'd think? Unless boxes were closed and stacked. And if stacked, well then it was no accident.

Unless they got a delivery and didn't look first...

Wouldn't the parents?

It would be the FIRST place I looked. And honestly, if I had a just turned 5yo back there, I might keep it locked. No parent shaming, but I'm s paranoid.

That's not paranoia.
