That's not paranoia.

I suppose. We are a bit hellicoptery, and if my hubby knew I didn't have eyes on the kids for 4 hours, he'd flip (and vice versa). I understand they're busy and running a business, but man...

This is what I was referring to. Which relative? Do they call parents relatives in these instances?

My thought/question too. I wouldn't phrase it like this if it was a parent. I wonder if the parents and police knew something was up from almost the beginning thus the terse 'no' when asked if they needed help.
Maybe another relative (sibling of parents or cousin....) was working or showed up and then left sometime in that time 4 hr time frame.

Just thinking out loud, they towed a car, there are investigators at a relatives apt.

Delivery driver who is a relative? A delivery driver would come and go without suspicion until they couldn't find Ashely

Really good point.

I only have reference to the asian food restaurant here in my town, but their back door is always open. There is some kind of BBQ back there, and the delivery driver parks back there.

So it is possible another person gained access through the back door unnoticed.

ETA: When I worked in that ice cream shop in the strip mall/plaza, we were always told not to leave that door opened because it was an invitation to robbery. But I do see a lot of places do this.

Very sad to see this. I was thinking she walked off and got hurt or maybe taken....so I was always worried it might not end well...heartbreaking...:rose:

I just couldn't see parents inviting police into a building their child was knowingly hidden in.

I am hoping it was not one or both of her parents but if it turns out that way, I wonder if Ashley was put into some type of container/box and they thought LE would not open.

That article earlier says they have TWO daughters. I hope the other one is safe.

Police must have known from the start that something wasn't right. That's why there wasn't a massive search effort. They knew they were looking for a body.

Just saw on the news she was found deceased. :( I will look for an article to post.
