You need to know the police case number in order to enter it into NamUs, and the police or law enforcement agency will have to ok it. I made contact with the missing persons officer in Milwaukee before submitting and she ok’d it. I only submitted because I knew they’d be ok’d as i had cleared it with her first.

Beverly Piert is in Namus already, so you need to go to the NaMus page and hit the contacts page. It shows Lt. terry Mosio as the case owner. That is who you need to contact to add the photo.

The regional directors - many were fired and almost none respond anymore to anyone other than law enforcement. Namus was gutted staff wise years ago. I’m shocked annything gets updated at all. And my contacts at law enforcement say they get very delayed responses to their inquiries too. In my opinion this used to be the way to do it, but now I Go to the contacts page on each up or mp and go directly to the agency, preferably an investigator listed.

Careful, this site will remove posts manipulated photos by anyone other than official forensic artists. That includes colorizing. They could get you banned. I got suspended for posting them. Big time made the mods mad.

Should I remove the clearer pictures? Getting a forensic artist to do it for me is about at a 0%. I just want to help get her found. The original is also still posted.

I put up clearer pictures and that's why I got in trouble. It's your call - they tend to look at any thread I post to, I suspect there's a mod who is not a fan of me because of my prior screwups. I know you just want to get her found. I felt the same way, but this site has rules about it. If you do submit the photos enhanced to law enforcement, make sure they know it's enhanced. Ai isn't perfect so like, with colorization, it gave it brown eyes instead of blue, that could be a critical problem in an investigation later. So just be upfront - what i do is "here's the original, here's an AI Manipulated one, use what you want" and actually, they always use the original. So I suppose it really is important to them to know.
