LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) – A search is underway for a man who has been missing from Lawrence County since last Wednesday evening.
Billy Harper, 41, was last seen about 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, April 20.
Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies say it out of character for Harper, who hasn’t shown up for work or answered his cellphone. It goes straight to voicemail.

On Saturday 11/25/2017 at about 1:50 PM the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office was notified that possible human remains were found on Wayne National Forrest Land off of CR 5 in Aid Township.

This is the last update on the remains. Topix (rumors) state that it was Billy Harper, and the family also searched the area and found a gun. The news has not identified the remains. I do know that the remains were found 5.6 miles by road, not trail, from where his vehicle was located.

Ohio remains identified as missing man

Human remains found in Wayne National Forest in Ohio last year have been identified as Billy R. Harper, of Kitts Hill, Ohio, according to Lawrence County Sheriff Jeff Lawless.
