What a sicko to post something like that to the family website.

There weas some news today, but sounds like a crazy person may be messing with the family:
http://www.nbc4i.com/midwest/cmh/news.apx.-content-articles-CMH-2007-07-14-0003.html

That hoax was probably copied from the Channon Christian case in Tennessee where Channon and her boyfriend were carjacked by 4 black thugs and were BOTH raped, tortured, and the boyfriend was shot and initially they said he was burned but maybe not.

They kept Channon alive longer while taking turns raping her until they poured cleaning fluid in her mouth, killed her, and stuffed in garbage bags.

I just read the post by Jesus and it is even more similar to the Tennessee case than I thought since Jesus claims some black dudes raped Brian and had their way with him the same way they did with Channon and her boyfriend.

How evil can someone be to want to hurt a missing person's family like that. As if they haven't suffered enough. I think there's a special place in Hell for people who go out of their way to hurt others that way... :behindbar

Look at what someone is doing to the Jennifer Keese family...putting her photo on lesbian and senior dating websites...what pleasure does someone get out of doing these things???????

Brian Shaffer's case is one of the cases that I think about most often. I get excited everytime I see that there is a new post thinking that maybe someone has come forward with info. I wish someone would talk because you know that someone there that night knows something!

I just wanted to thank all of you who have sent in such wonderful and caring thoughts. Brian has notbeen found and the Columbus Police have no clues as to his disappearance, not one. A search team from Texas who worked on the Natalie Holloway case is coming to Columbus next week. The namae of the group is the Texas Equu Search Team. They bring a lot of people with them along with high tec equipment. I pray they can come up with something. I never dreamed that this would happen and that it would go on this long with no clues at all. For some of you who don't know, my beautiful wife of almost 30 years passed aaway 3 weeks before Brian disappeared. I loved her so much along with both of my sons, Brian and Derek. There is also a retired homicide detective from New York who is working on the case. I will also be doing a commercial next week with Tony Luzio,a very good friend who also lost his son over 2 years ago. Thank you all again, Randy, Brian's Dad

This is one of the most mysterious missing person's cases I can think of.

Almost as odd as the disappearance of Danielle Imbo and Richard Petrone...

Almost as odd as the disappearance of Danielle Imbo and Richard Petrone...

Actually, from what I've read here from a Petrone relative, it sounds like they have a very good idea about what happened to Danielle and Richard, but no bodies and not enough evidence. I think the family is quite certain that Danielle and Richard have perished.

This case is entirely up in the air.

Randy,
I am up here in Wooster, OH. and followed this case when it happened.
I am so sorry for you and for your losses, please accept my sincere condolences. Would you please let us know when E.S. gets there and what the outcome is? I'll be checking the online newspapers and TV stations to see if there is any updates there. Thank you for posting.

Randy Shaffer called Tim Miller, director of Texas EquuSearch, to help with the search. Miller agreed and sonar equipped divers are scheduled to arrive next week. The assistance will reportedly be offered to the Shaffers at no charge.
Out of 730 cases that EquuSearch has investigated, Miller said that they have solved nearly 300 of them, either finding the missing person alive or finding the body.
Miller declined to say exactly where the teams would search, but he said that the Ugly Tuna Saloona would be a good starting point.
"When somebody is taken and there actually is a murder, 86% of them are found within a 12 mile radius of where they disappeared," he said.
According to Miller, EquuSearch also plans to look for Tony Luzio, who vanished several months before Shaffer.
Miller said that in the next two months, as many as 2,000 volunteers are expected to join the search.

Thanks for posting the update. They originally said they would be in Columbus today. I was getting ready to watch the news at 11 to see if there was anything on there about the search! I hope they can find something out about Tony Luzio too.
