Unusual hand gestures while posing with friends is one thing, but with his parents, odd, imo, what if anything, do they mean?

Was about to ask the very same thing. It looks like "I Love You" in ASL or maybe he was a Texas Longhorn fan?

  • #703
I just googled ASL I love you. That's what it looks like to me.

I wonder who took the picture and if he were sending a signal to that person?
Or, it could just be his way of telling his parents he loves them, too.

Until I see evidence to the contrary, I still think the most probable answer is that he had an accident and was buried in the construction site.

I'm thinking that's very plausible, too.

I agree this is plausible. But two other things steer me away from this a little: 1. Why would his friend Clint refuse a polygraph?? 2. And of course, the disappearance and death of Joey Labute that occurred in close proximity.

I don't see the refusal of a polygraph strange. They are notoriously unreliable and the results aren't even admissible in court.

I see it as very strange!! If I ever disappear, I hope those that were with me on the night of the disappearance would all volunteer to take a polygraph to help the police more accurately direct the investigation...

Police use polygraphs as a tool for focusing their investigation. If Clint had taken the test and passed, the police could've moved on in a more fruitful direction.

In addition to the polygraph, there were some other strange things about Clint'a behavior. You can look back earlier in the thread if you want to see that. Brian's father had a lot of concerns about Clint that went way beyond the polygraph…

I was about to post pretty much the same thing, but now I don't need to. Thanks, geojeffrey.

I had major anxiety just posting this not sure what people would think..But I want to say that I did it to try and get people to maybe look into this spot since there is specific info..which I was told by police is the most specific they have gotten..I also want to add..that many others like me felt the same with the tree as I did..without knowing why i sent it to them..I checked it over many times by others who i trust...they all feel the same..I posted this info with love in hopes that it can make a difference...Xo

What is "this" ? I looked back as well and didn't see anything. Could you clarify or repost what you thought you posted please ? TIA

Thanks I am familiar with the earlier posts but they don't change my view of polygraphs.

Does anyone know of a link to ONLY the full video surveillance of Brian ? I've checked on youtube and all are in bits and pieces and inside of long documentaries. Maybe that's all there is available? Anyway, just thought I'd ask here as maybe I'm missing it somehow. TIA

Wondering if they are referring in some way to post 558?

I agree. I don't see the point of taking one.
I see them as an intimidation tactic used by the police.
I don't see how Brian's friend taking a polygraph would help find him.

More specifics, my question is regarding a comment on the below link, of someone leaving the bar in a blue jacket and a ball cap. It's from a comment , the second from the last comment. The comments were initials V. R. Has anyone else seen this and had questions about it ? TIA

Thank you for posting this article.
I read that comment but found it difficult to follow because of the lack of punctuation. Was the poster suggesting the person in the blue jacket and ball cap was Brian or that they thought the person wearing them was possibly responsible for what might have happened to him?

Brian's girlfriend Alexis states at about 1:15 in the video, that when she talked to her, he told her "this was his chance to talk about her with the guys". So, did his talking about her with the guys lead to something happening ? Could someone be jealous enough to kill him for it?

Just before the 3:00 mark, Brian's father states "Clint and Meredith (?) did say that when they got ready to leave supposedly Brian went to talk to the band". But then the investigator stated they interviewed the band and they weren't really able to provide any information. IMO, I detect a skeptical look on the investigator's face, in that she doesn't believe that Brian went and talked to the band.

And the person in a blue jacket and ball cap exiting after Brian re-enters the club, as mentioned by the commenter at the end of that article, in my above post, I never see in this video. Is there another video with more footage out there ? Anyone? TIA
