So a man goes into a bar but doesn't come out and is never seen again. Maybe he is still in there?

I strongly doubt it, given the layout of the bar, the amount of people who work there and/or travel in and out, and the fact that decomposition is a very hard smell to hide.

Maybe not probable but we don't know how late Brain was there till and how man people may have been left. Didn't someone say he was talking to the band? Maybe he was there until after them? Also, there was construction going on too. Wrap a body in heavy plastic there will be no smell.

I believe Brian left the bar that night/morning; whether on his own accord or not, am not sure about that. However, it's possible to leave the bar without being picked up by a video camera.

Yes, it has to be possible. Isn't it odd that with the prevalence of security cameras, we (people in general) have come to believe that if something is not caught on camera, it didn't happen?

I can't believe... no news about Brian Shaffer. Soon it will be six years that Brian went missing.

Bump - what happened to Brian Shaffer?

  • #467
Let's keep you on the first page, Brian. What happened to you?

Bump for Brian...

I wonder if LE still is working on this case...

I lived in Columbus and my DH was a student at OSU at the time of Brian's disappearance. I think of Brian often and hope that someday this case will be solved.

I think so. The local news will still occasionally mention his case, and I know Tony Luzio's dad tries to keep interest in it.

God bless Tony's father for that effort, especially since Brian's parents have passed. And bless Arielilane for years of effort to keep both cases on the WS radar. We have not forgotten either Brian or Tony.

Brian went missing six (6) years ago tomorrow. It seems like an eternity. Where is Brian Shaffer? Any articles in The Columbus Dispatch?

Haven't seen anything in the local news this year yet, which is odd because they usually do run something on the anniversary. Where are you Brian?

  • #475
Nothing...not one single article. Checked The Lantern as well.:maddening:

I think about Brian a lot, especially when I'm down near campus. I really wish we had more answers.

someone has to know something. I just can't believe some one hasn't come forward after all this time.

I can't believe I missed the sixth anniversary of Brian's disappearance, I've been so busy with work. I also can't believe there weren't any news articles marking the anniversary.

I really wish that Brian's case would be featured on the program "Disappeared" on the ID network. His disappearance would be perfect for that show. I suggested it on the thread on here where TV shows were looking for stories to do. I think they wanted input from family members and friends of people who have disappeared, but I recommended his case anyway.

It's really time for the people who know what happened to come forward with the truth.

I was very surprised that there was nothing local. Very disappointed with the local news.
