RIVERSIDE, Ohio (WDTN) — Riverside Police are looking for a 28-year-old woman who is considered missing under suspicious circumstances.

Brooke McCullough, of Huber Heights, was last seen by her father Sunday, July 18, around 10:45 a.m. leaving the Christy Club in Riverside. She was picked up in a dark colored Dodge minivan or Chrysler Town & Country by what was described as two Black men.

Using an app on her phone, authorities have determined that from Sunday morning until Monday morning the phone was in West Dayton, Trotwood, North Dayton and Harrison Township. The phone shut off a little before 10 a.m. Monday morning.

She has since missed work, a “no call no show,” which is out of character for her, according to family.

10:45 am at a bar? With her father?

That's what I thought too. Did they mean 10.45pm?

And why was her father there too?

<snipped>

So I'm wondering if Dad just saw her leaving and didn't get to talk to her? MOO I have a strange feeling if he would have talked to her it might have changed everything, because he could better ID who she went with - and they would know that.

Online some sites show the Christy Club hours open from 5:30 am - 2:30 am and Sunday 6:30 am - 12:00 am. Wonder if they served breakfast and that's why Dad would be there? Anyway I hope it was a normal visit and she didn't text him to come help her and he was too late.

If you work overnight shift - going to a bar after work (in the morning hours) is not unusual at all.

"She was picked up in a dark colored Dodge minivan or Chrysler Town & Country..."

Somehow this just isn't threatening. Maybe they are forcing her to drive random kids to soccer practice?

IMO

i guess it can depend widely on the region or even to the city. Pure conjecture, but I'd imagine the people in my area (a suburb where Walmart closes at 10 pm) would hit up Norms or Denny's or another 24-hour diner for something to eat after an overnight shift.

Maybe breakfast with her father??
Meeting two old friends?
But why not back at work? Or at least why no call-in to work? Worrisome, of course.

I agree. I know plenty of people who do just that. In fact, when I worked overnights at the hospital, several of us would go have a drink at 8 am before going home.

Bumping for Brooke. Hope she is located soon, as it's been several days now. No updates and very little information, at least that I can find, on Christy's establishment.

Makes complete and total sense to me. How many of us 9-to-5'ers (when we were in office buildings, that is) have done that? Even more than once!

I have no idea why this one hit me so hard, but it did. <modsnip> Can't find any information anywhere.... Why did she leave with two men? Did she know them?

Do we know who owns the bar? Maybe dad/Brooke worked there on some capacity. IMO. Just thinking the AM issue. FYI, people do go to bars and not drink. ( I'm not one of them, so going with rumor on that. )

My goodness, this sounds like the beginning of the Savannah Spurlock case. I really hope this one ends better!

Has there been any updates?

Can at least clarify the Dayton vs Riverside confusion. Riverside is a suburb of metro Dayton, so while the club has a Dayton mailing address, I do believe it is still technically within the Riverside suburb rather than Dayton proper.

It’s not the worst part of the Dayton area, but it isn’t the best either. It’s moreso an area I wouldn’t be comfortable out and about in at night but as this appears to have happened in broad daylight, that’s concerning.

Hoping we get more info on this one soon.

edit by me: had to fix a wording error

It sounds exactly like "Savannah Spurlock".

To the best of my knowledge, I don’t think there has been any update reported in mainstream media as to this young woman’s status.

Very little to go on in this case. Did she know the people she went with in the vehicle? Did she say where she’d be going to her father or others at Christy Club?
