Found Deceased OH - Bryon Macron, 45, Lafayette Township, 15 Dec 2016

  • #381
Marty was selected as the trustee to replace Mr. Macron, Costello works for Bowers’ small real estate business, Mrs. Macron was told that her husband was found in the lake in Bowers’ driveway. Several comments on Facebook that people in Lafayette township were warned about Bowers’ actions and reputation.

Has the podcast forced BCI to come forward with some bizarre theory?

BCI concludes Bryon Macron staged his disappearance, death in Medina County

Medina County Prosecutor S. Forrest Thompson said he received BCI’s final report Oct. 2 and shared the findings with Macron’s widow and her attorney before calling a press conference Thursday to share the information with the public.

Thompson said he can’t label Macron’s death a suicide because that’s a medical determination made by a coroner. For now, the coroner has ruled Macron’s cause of death undetermined.

They can't change the fact that the Cuy Co ME ruled the cause of death "undetermined".

I wasn't aware that former prosecutor Dean Holman is running again to get his old job back.

Holman is now running to get the job back and has said he would have handled the Macron case differently.

“I think it’s a homicide. I’d treat it as a murder until it’s not,” Holman told the Medina Gazette about four weeks ago.

If Holman says he will continue to investigate Bryon's death as a homicide, I hope he gets the chance.

Weird how BCI jumped in and said Macron staged his own death after Holman said he would look at it as a homicide.

What is happening with the Bryon Macron death investigation? | wkyc.com

Regardless of what the report says, the investigation was flawed because the crime scene was cleaned up within hours of Macron's disappearance. BCI agents were never able to gather or test any evidence. There were no search warrants. Any evidence that exists cannot be used in court, according to the podcast.

As the old saying goes "absence of evidence isn't evidence of absence". Sometimes, lack of evidence at a crime scene means the crime scene was cleaned to remove it. Not uncommon, JMO, in cases where its suspected that a murder is staged to look like suicide.

News article about the "Invisible Ships" podcast about Bryon Macron's death.

Will the Bryon Macron mystery ever be solved? | wkyc.com

The show’s three hosts are from Medina County, where Macron lived. They interview his widow, Victoria, and the family’s private investigator who also spoke with 3News about the case.

“No question that it will be solved,” investigator Paul Hartman said. “I have reasonably concluded the motive for the murder.”

He is not yet ready to reveal it. However, he believes that Macron died from exposure.

“I think he was left somewhere and later deposited in the lake,” Hartman said. “That’s what I think happened.”

Producers of the podcast say they now have new information.

“We know that there is an eyewitness to part of the murder,” host Darren Knupp said.

“This has the potential of really shaking things up,” said Rick Hudson.

Are we certain that there isn’t more video evidence? I posted a while ago that there are potentially more cameras that could have recorded Macron’s car travelling to the parking lot on Beachside Dr. Several gas stations on that route that should be considered.

I don’t think all of the video surveillance was submitted.

On the invisible ships podcast, they mentioned an anonymous “Mr. Cohen” that had information regarding the case. He was going to provide the info after the election. I wonder if the boys at the podcast have any promising or enlightening info.

Sad to see Dean Holman lost his race for county prosecutor, though he came close. He seems very concerned about the investigation of Bryon's death.

Do we know the whereabouts of ALL the sheriff’s deputies and all they where up to the morning Macron went missing? Has anyone ever asked if they paid a visit to any other local establishments or businesses to check surveillance video or are we to believe the only video collected was from the convenient store near the Trustee’s office? Be Proactive!

A bloody towel in the dumpster and blood on the doorknob and the DNA wasn’t checked? Oh wait...... a knife was found in the dumpster.. no, no, no a deputy threw away their own personal knives in the dumpster before Macron went missing.. no, no ,no it was in the back of a deputies cruiser. WTF!?!?!

I really hope the podcasters produce more than one more episode. I feel like they’re getting close to the truth and there may be more information that wasn’t submitted in any report and only those involved know exactly what happened. Be Positive

Yes, that was really astounding - a knife found in a dumpster that came from some items a deputy took out of the back of his car.

I’m still hung up on the idea that there is/was video important to the case that was never submitted. I continue to Be Positive, but then I change from Being Positive and I Stop and then I Go, Stop and then I Go.

In one of the earlier podcasts, it was reported that the podcasters reached out to Deputy Sanford to ask him about the case. Sanford replied through e-mail that he couldn’t comment until the BCI report was released and when the case was closed, he would be willing to comment. Have the podcasters reached out to Sanford for comment now that the case is closed?

It’s worth noting (and I think I already did way back on this thread) that Sanford and Macron knew each other for years prior to Bryon’s death.

Stay tuned to the podcast. I have been helping Rick with the surveilence videos from the Lafayette market. We've found some very interesting things people will be interested in.

More interesting than bloody towels and knives that were conveniently omitted from a murder investigation?
Can we all agree on the fact that every public official mentioned or involved with this case is an embarrassment? Classic example of people falling up! It defies physics.

Think about that last post for a minute. These clowns are so brazen and entitled that they submitted a report and openly admitted they thought nothing of, and actually tampered with multiple pieces of evidence. ADMITTED IT!! What will this cost the County/City in civil court? What kind of insurance policy covers this?

Are we sure there isn’t/wasn’t other video? Did they mention if Sanford commented on the case yet?

I have only been working on the videos. Everything you said is correct. It adds into it. There are discrepencies in the videos, I'll leave it at that as I don't feel it is my place to steal these gentlemans work they have done or you have done. It's their show and their platform. It will coloborate everything you have said.
