Not much I can find online regarding his disappearance. They the tag number of his vehicle but no mention if the vehicle was recovered. Who reported him missing? Who was he meeting up with to buy the motorcycle? Did he ever buy the motorcycle?

Upon more research, I think Charles Floyd Hanlon showed back up and live until 2008.

Declared dead 2008 but no mention of any investigative efforts or if truck located. Seems this guy has been forgotten about. I know this is avery rural area of SE Ohio, says he was heading to FL so could be anywhere. Bumping for Charles.

I wonder who said he was going to Florida to purchase a motorcycle? Because the car was found what 10 miles away? Sounds a lot like foul play with his body not being found in the car. They should definitely look into the people that knew him. Especially whoever said he was heading to Florida.

There's not much distance between Bloomingdale and Steubenville, Ohio... the truck was probably stolen with him inside... maybe the motorcycle was a hoax... he could have been carrying money and someone knew it... maybe he resisted and was taken somewhere else... to get rid of the truck, they simply let it sink in the river...
whatever it is
Rest in peace
