This is from 2/19/19 Police: Husband is 'only suspect' in Coker homicide investigation

Investigators also said Tuesday newly discovered evidence led them to the conclusion that this is a homicide investigation but would not specify what that evidence is.

Great reminder points.

I read the search warrant report the other day for the first time. I cannot believe the things that William & GF reported about Cheryl in their interviews. Well, let me rephrase...I can certainly see William saying that Cheryl was hooking up with strangers all the time, pushing William into other relationships to "occupy his time", because he obviously needs to paint the picture that Cheryl probably ran off with a guy.

But, the things the GF said, going so far as witnessing backyard sex, well, I realized for the first time that she's in it up to her neck. Perhaps not the murder, but she's obviously agreed to help paint the picture.

I wonder if the evidence that they have is more of a culmination of interviews that has led them to believe William is lying about Cheryl's habits and lying about his injuries.

Distance is approximately 15.5 miles or a 30 minute drive from Riverside. Wonder if the teams were anywhere around this area.

My opinion-

I’ve hiked at Glen Helen and John Bryan and I’m familiar with the Clifton Gorge area. I’ve driven Grinnell Rd many times over the years approaching from both ends (Corry street & Clifton rd )This search area is across from Camp Greene at Glen Helen Nature Preserve, a very short drive from Clifton Road approach .

I believe the other search was conducted on the opposite side of Glen Helen Preserve.
I am working from memory of the first search sene photo in newspaper.

Also from above link:

The affidavit attached to the search request sent to Coker’s employer referenced scabs on William’s elbows observed during an interview, and swollen knuckles observed during another interview. Coker, according to the affidavit, said he had injured his left hand in a forklift injury at work, but did not report the injury.

Any ideas on how Bill was injured?

Was it ever reported WHEN William claimed to have gotten this "forklift" injury?

I haven't seen any of this. Where can I find it?

The only William is guilty of right now is not using common sense when it comes to the GF, it shows bad optics and he’s thinking with his other brain

Put yourself in his shoes, at this point, just maybe he is telling the truth and she left on her own, and something else bad happened from that point,
It’s ok for us to discuss this case because our outcomes affect nothing, but when when the police show a video of an individual that could be anyone, that’s trying the case in the public arena, that’s how the public’s mob mentality gets people hurt

So in post #329 yes he has grounds if it ever came to that, plus I am not a fan of trying and convicting someone without a body, that is morally wrong, they could accuse anyone of murder and try them just to satisfy the public’s outcry

But you, nor any of us, are privy to what evidence and other information LE has. Believe me, if they are looking at him as a POI then they definitely have good reasoning to do so.

I had to read it this way because I couldn't locate posted docs on FB. It's there somewhere, though on the Missing FB Group with her maiden name.

Thank you. That was difficult to read and some of it, I couldn't make out the words. I wish we could get a clear copy of the documents.

If it was I don't remember it.

The statements from William and the GF are unbelievable , unless someone else witnessed the GF s account of the backyard scene just cements the claim she’s a real piece of of s$&#, I think she would say anything to ruin Cheryl, and replace her
Are we sure she’s not suspect number one?.

I'm sure LE has interviewed bartenders, patrons, the guy she was dating, etc. and may have determined that William and GF's statements weren't meshing with reality.

If they truly had an open marriage for years, and Cheryl was not only okay with William and Erin's relationship, but actually pressing for it, then it makes NO SENSE that she would file for divorce. Makes absolutely no sense.

Just my gut, but no, GF did not go rogue and decide and take Cheryl out. But I think she may be lying about Cheryl to protect her boyfriend, who she feels may be getting railroaded.

What bothers me most is GF's account of "what she witnessed". She was willing to say they would hang out at bars together and watch her bring strangers home. I'd love to see if that stands up under a polygraph, but we've not been privy as to whether or not she's been willing to take one or the results.

No she's not a suspect but I wouldn't be surprised if she's charged with obstruction of justice or withholding information if Bill is charged with Cheryl's murder. Not sure what the statute of limitations is in Ohio. I'll have to check.

Obstructing justice in a murder investigation in Ohio is a third degree felony. I haven't been able to find the SOL on it yet. Heads up Girlfriend! If you're reading this, you need to have a talk with LE.

Columbus and Delaware, Ohio Obstructing Justice Attorney-Lawyer

However, there are certain exceptions. If the crime committed by the person aided is aggravated murder, murder or a felony of the 1st or 2nd degree, obstructing justice will be charged as a 3rd degree felony.

From what I have read (not sure where) GF is willing to take a polygraph. I don't know if she has.

After reading the above posts especially what the GF stated, who is this girlfriend?
Where did she live before, was she married before, is this her MO , latch onto someone who spoke to her, and now her her pea brain thinks she’s married now.

She must be of very low self esteem , or a professional leech, for her to think to take over Cheryl’s home before and after is pretty ballsy

How old is she to him, does she have kids of her own , where was she before this...did they meet at Costco or was she a bar fly

I would just like to picture what a low life individual like her looks like, after reading her tone in the above statements to police she’s dangerous, she wants a free ride and probably would do anything to get it...

According to Ohio law there is no time limit to prosecute a murder case, but the prosecution must bring its case within one year of the discovery of the offense, for many other violent felenies Ohio has twenty years to make it case....

I need clarification, does this mean the prosecution in Williams case has one year from the time he was labelled prime suspect, or am I wrong here

She hasn't been named a POI or a suspect so it would be against the rules in this forum to sleuth her. She has been outed in the FB groups, so the information's been out there for months if you want to do some personal digging. I've used her first name a few times in posting here, and in hindsight I shouldn't have done that.

I agree that her statements really make me raise an eyebrow.

We don't know for sure how much evidence LE has or if it's enough to prove how Cheryl was killed. At this point they may be able to prove Cheryl died in a narrow time frame and only Bill was present during that time. They may be able to prove that Bill hid her remains but in order to get a grand jury to indict for murder, they really need to show how Cheryl died. IMO until they can show the likelihood that Bill murdered her in a specific way, then they aren't under a time limit. If Cheryl is found and they can determine COD then at that time I think they have a year to charge him. Since they classified it a homicide, they already know the MOD but they need the COD too. All JMO.

I think and it’s my opinion the GF has the answers to fill in the crossword puzzle

I can’t gather much info on her from the other sites, but all I can gather she not well liked

Since she is still part of his life before and after the disappearance , she knows more than she’s letting on, I think she’s directing the show at the house
