Did anyone check to see if the driver seat in her car was in position for her to be driving or was it farther back as if a man drove it when they found it in the parking lot?

That seems subjective for multiple reasons..

A man could be the same height or less than her, we don't know that she was taken, and we don't know the hight or gender of who took her if she was indeed taken.. We don't know how her seat may have been positioned prior to her disappearing either..

unless her alleged abductor was very tall and she was very short ( or vice versa ) it's likely to not be useful but probably noted.

They'd be more likely to be searching for things like hair, cloth, fingerprints, shoe prints.. etc..

Cheryl Coker disappearance: Police confirm new video evidence I'm interested to see what the report this evening
says.

Ummm, wow:

A text message exchange between Coker and her co-workers about her pending divorce from her husband was obtained by investigators prior to a search warrant at the couple’s home, according to an affidavit.

“I will be in tomorrow if I’m not dead,” a portion of the text message from Sept. 24 read, according to the affidavit. The text message came less than a week before her disappearance.
------------
That article is worth a read - can't post too much here but I gently suggest a quick read.

ETA: The missing money (if true as reported) certainly opens some new ideas IMO...

I think it's more likely he just took the money himself and is trying to make it seem like she left willingly. Especially with that text message..

I believe this is pretty much going the way everyone expected unfortunately.

Keep in mind that the group text took place on September 24th and so when she texts "I will be in tomorrow if I'm not dead" - tomorrow refers to September 25th.

So, at a minimum it seems that her husband was not expecting a divorce filing and only knew when he was served.

It sounds very much like the net is closing in around him.. I've been saying from the start that I suspect it was him, this new information makes me more confident than ever.

I'm concerned that they removed "body fluids" and other items that could be used to conceal a body

Do you have a link for this? I haven't seen that yet.

Investigators sought a lengthy list of items from the Coker residence, the warrant shows, including furniture covers, body fluids, computers, cell phones, weapons, tools and other items “used to conceal or dispose of a body,” and “any and all materials, electrical stimuli, chemicals, topicals, indigestible or inhalants that could render a human unresponsive or unconscious.”

Based on that search warrant, they are definitely not treating this as a voluntary disappearance. I'm glad they are being thorough, I hope the new video reported in this article is helpful as well.

To me, this was very well planned out. I don't think anything happened at their home or in one of their vehicles.........

The article discusses that the husband reported $4,000.00 in cash is missing from a shoe box that the couple had stashed it in. He suggested that she took it with her when she "disappeared." I say: "Or didn't take it."

The fact that LE is NOT discussing the findings on that new video is very telling to me. If that had been Cheryl, they would have said so and asked if anyone remembers seeing her at such and such area at such and such time. Nope, in my opinion, it wasn't Cheryl in that car.

I get a nagging feeling there is more to this story than what we know.
