You know what? They should be running the DNA of unidentified kids through the database they run criminals through. It’s possible to find familial matches that way, right?

After reading and viewing this sad story regarding this little four year old boy, I can remember when my son was 4 years old. By that age, he had certainly had his first hair cut, and to me, it was a big deal (with tears for me, etc.). Looking at this photo and the length of his hair, it makes me wonder if this little one was neglected, etc., because you don't normally see children this age with hair that long unless they are neglected (and I emphasize "normally"). If my four year old was missing, I would be a permanent fixture in a police station, IMHO, JMO, MOO.

I see what you are saying and I think, for sure, that this the work of a parent but the article does say that he doesn't appear to be suffering malnutrition, so he was not neglected in that sense, at least:

Like I said before, he reminds me of Gianni and Joseph Jr. McStay. They were 3 & 4 and had the long hair their Dad did.

Wow. So confusing. In an earlier link there was the interview with the daughter of the woman whose house it was. The remains were found in the backyard. The mother had moved out because of the fire. In the background of this interview, I would say that is the white house to the left across the street- clearly with work going on. Also looks like that house if you zoom into the address 12902 on maps. Was there a guy living at the house with the mother? Or is this gentleman interviewed referring to a neighbor (he waves and the camera follows)? The neighbor seems to be saying that it's a quiet street where nothing like this ever happens, except for one occasion with a man who killed his girlfriend, and that guy was quiet and nothing happened at his house except for occasional pizza deliveries. Did he say the man who killed his girlfriend had a son? Is he recalling something recent? How come he remembers this incident and not the Diaz/Sloane thing?

I can't believe yet another case with unidentified child remains! The nose looks like it might be native South American?

How come the remains were split between two bags? Was the body already skeletonized when it was placed in the bags?

I would want to know about the crews working on the house after the fire, they would know of the availability of the site as a 'dump site'.
