Loved ones form search party in Zanesville for missing 19-year-old

His mother, Michelle Stevens, said Ulry took off from her home on Gray Street in the area of Brighton Boulevard and Ridge Avenue Sunday after having hallucinations.

According to Stevens, Ulry has Schizophrenia and sometimes panics during episodes such as the one he experienced Sunday.

Those who saw Ulry last said he was wearing gray or black jogger pants, black Nike shoes and possibly a blue or teal short-sleeved shirt.

Ulry has scars on his forehead, chest and arm from being burnt.

He has green eyes and light brown hair.

Family and friends believe Ulry is searching for his mother.

Ulry has the mental capacity of a 5-year-old.

Ulry has a warrant for his arrest out of Zanesville on criminal damaging, assault and criminal trespassing charges.

Ulry's body was discovered when a woman was walking out to her truck around 3:30 p.m. and noticed someone sitting in her Chevy Blazer that was parked in the back of the driveway because it doesn't run.

When she walked up to the door to knock on the window, she found a deceased person inside.

The cause of his death is still being investigated.

According to Captain Scott Comstock, the death is considered suspicious since the cause is still unknown.

Comstock said no weapons, drugs or signs of suicide were noted in the vehicle with Ulry.

Yes, unfortunately. If he had the mental capacity of a five year old, he may not have known or been able to open the manual locks on the door if it was an old truck.

Wow... What a strange, sad case. My first thought was that he got inside the truck on his own, then wasn't able to get out and died due to heat. It sounds like the woman who found the body/owns the truck didn't know who he was.

Rest in peace, Daylon. I hope the investigation can provide clarity on this young man's death. Something doesn't feel right to me. My condolences to those who loved him.

It is unclear right now how Daylon died and his body has been sent to an area coroner. “Daylon has been sent to the Licking County Coroner’s Office for an autopsy, so that we can understand what happened to him and why…We did not see any signs of foul play, that’s what has been reported. We don’t understand why Daylon was found deceased.“
