Haven't been here in forever - apologize for bumping an old thread. I saw this on TV tonight and it was odd. She OD'd on the heroin but had enough time to call her mom - wouldn't it usually be extremely quick? Is the implication that he later gave her more? And a doctor that screwed up the heroin dose and didn't resuscitate her knowing how easy it would be to link him - he'd talked to the mother and there were so many records. People do a lot of stupid things, but this was an odd one. When a doctor is up to something involving drugs, it is completely ridiculous for things to get to that point. He should have been able to keep it under control - he seems so clueless. Perhaps he was high at the time? There are lots of people into this sort of thing so that part is no surprise to me, but the stupidity is. Unnecessary tragedy for Deanna and her family.
