*Pretrial Conference Hearing (@ 9am CT) – OH – DelVante Johnson (19), Toshaun Banks (21) & DeVaughn Gibson (23) (Dec. 31, 2018, Cleveland) - *Tevin Biles-Thomas (24/now 26) arrested (9/11/19), indicted (8/29/19), charged (8/29/19) & arraigned (9/13/19) with 6 counts of murder, 3 counts of voluntary manslaughter, 5 counts of felonious assault & 1 count of perjury. Plead not guilty. $1M Cash/Surety bond. Bond modified (12/18/19) to $100K. Posted bond (12/19/19).
Trial was set to begin on 11/16/20 continued to 2/3/21.

9/24/20 Update: Defendant in court via video conferencing. Counsel Joe Patituce present. Prosecutor Greg Mussman present. Sgt. Aaron Reese present. 10/6/20 Update: In court video conference. Continued to 10/21/20 because of ongoing discussion between Defense & State. Pretrial conference hearing continued to 10/21/20 at 9am - reason - Trial continuance. Due to COVID-19 pretrial to be held by phone. Trial previously set for 9/30/20 is reset to 11/16/20 at 9am at the request of the Court.
10/21/20 Update: Pretrial hearing was moved to 10/29/20. 10/29/20 Update: Ongoing discussions between defense counsel & the State. In an effort to reduce community spread of COVID, pretrial held by phone. Counsel required to advise defendant regarding future pretrial format. Trial previously set for 11/16/20 is reset for 2/3/21 at 9am at the request of defendant. Reason for continuance; defendant's oral motion to continue trial is unopposed & granted. Pretrial conference continued to 11/12/20 @ 9am.

11/12/20 Update: No info on hearing. 12/2/20: Defendant's response to demand for discovery by State of Ohio, filed. Defendant's supplemental discovery response.
11/12/20 Update: Hearing held & continued to 12/7/20, reason for continuance: ongoing discussions between defense counsel & the State. In an effort to reduce community spread of COVID, pretrial held by phone. Counsel required to advise defendant regarding future pretrial format. Trial remains set for 2/3/21 at the request of defendant. 12/7/20: State's supplemental response to request for discovery filed.
12/15/20 Update: In an effort to reduce community spread of COVID, pretrial held by phone. Pretrial hearing on 12/7/20 was held & continued to 1/21/21 @ 10am at the request of defendant. Reason for continuance: ongoing discussions between defense counsel & the State. Next date to be a counsel-only status conference, held by Zoom on 12/15/20. Trial remains set for 2/3/21 per request of defendant.
