16-year-old Destiny Dye has long black hair, brown eyes, weighs 160 pounds and is 5-feet, 4-inches tall.
Dye was last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt and black leather jacket at her family home at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday. She said she was going to take something to a friend then she came back home and went to her room. That was the last time her family or friends said they saw her.
It is believed Dye is with an unknown male between the age of 18 and 22. She has family in the Lenore, N.C., area and police believe it is possible she may be traveling there, but are unsure at this time.
She deactivated all of her social media accounts so there is no way to keep track of her or reach out and she completely destroyed her phone before she left.
