On Wednesday, Ashtabula Police and U.S. Marshals searched for potential evidence behind the West 38th Street home where Donnell lived prior to his disappearance.

19 News crews watched as investigators combed though dirt and debris dug up by heavy machinery in the rear yard.

Investigators searched the backyard of an Ashtabula home Wednesday in connection with the August 1991 disappearance of a 14-year-old boy.(WOIO)
Investigators with the coroner’s office were also spotted at the scene on Tuesday, when the search of the property began.
