Details of Disappearance: Howard was last seen on Route 1 in Milford Center, Ohio on May 23, 1976. Two days later, his red and white 1970s model Ford F-150 pickup truck was found abandoned near a wooded area at the intersection of Collins Road and Maple Ridge Road. The keys and some of Howard's personal belongings were inside the truck, but there was no sign of him at the scene.

<<Circumstances Notes
On May 25, 1976, a citizen called in an abandoned vehicle near a wooded area at the intersection of Collins Road at Maple Ridge Road, Milford Center, Ohio, Union County. Edward S. Howard's early 1970's model, red Ford F150 pickup truck was reported to have been abandoned for approximately 2 days and had the keys and other personal items of value in the truck. An intensive search of the area revealed no further evidence. Follow ups were made with family members locally and out of state and to current date no one has had contact with Mr. Howard.>>
