I listened to the 911 call and...this is a victim friendly site so I have nothing to say.

Hope this works...I looked up the park in Bing maps to see if I could get a better picture of the layout.

Not sure if this is map is more recent than Google maps. I noticed there is a building (under construction) in the Google map next to the park--not in Bing. Just thought another angle on the park would be a good insight. I see nowhere for parking or driving up to the park (unless on the surrounding streets)--all sidewalks in the very small park.

Basically the same info, he's missing, she's with her 2 other children, and gives the name and location of the park....and his description and what he was wearing. Said she had been looking for him for about 15 min. She was sobbing....but not hysterical. IMO

In the 911 call the mother is crying but she doesn't seem to be frantic. Just crying.

I wish that I had her ability to stay calm in a crisis. I was inconsolable when my cockatoo died earlier this year. I don't know how I'd react if it had been one of my children but, I know I wouldn't be this calm.

So, he was snatched on Shaker Ave/St side? Wow, that's a busy street too....I would think anyway.

Couldn't his scent have been in the park bc he had played there before? There's no proof he was playing there last night, correct?
The video footage of the mom with two kids, not three, has me concerned. E is the one absent from the footage and he's the one reported missing later that day...hmm...
I'm jaded and I'm the first to admit that. I hope LE is well on the way to unraveling this story.
I hope you're safe out there, little one!

Just wanted to tell you how sorry I am about your cockatoo. I lost my Eclectus several years ago and I was the same.....absolutely heartbroken. I am now the happy parrot mommy to a wonderful African Grey who I adore, but I will never forget or stop missing my wonderful Mowgli.

Awww thank you :hug: Most people don't think you can get so attached to a bird but they really are just like having a toddler around...so cute! Nothing will replace my Pete.

I'm sorry about Mowgli and so happy that you found a new love.

Why refuse a lie detector and ask for a attorney if u are innocent.. I would take electrical shocks if it was my child to get him back..I know I need to hush now.. Taking my son to Tae Kwon Do and then dinner.. BBL

More and more bad feelings with each new bit of news coming out. I wonder if they are still searching around the park area. I haven't read too much about searching today, just that they are out there. Seems the news has been about figuring out/corroborating the story. I hope E returns safely!
