Why refuse a lie detector and ask for a attorney if u are innocent.. I would take electrical shocks if it was my child to get him back..I know I need to hush now.. Taking my son to Tae Kwon Do and then dinner.. BBL

I've always thought I would never take a lie detector test; I just don't trust them. That said, if something happened to one of my kids, all bets would be off. I'd do anything the police asked me to do.

Maybe she's just young and scared?

I never like to play the "well I wouldn't react the way she's reacting" game because I don't think it's fair. Unless you've been through an identical situation, you truly don't know how you'd react. You may have an idea or think you know depending on your personality, but you really don't.

When my nephew had a seizure, I was fairly calm at first. I am an anxious type of person, and I can't handle scary medical situations, so if I had to predict my reaction, I never would have imagined I would be calm. But I was. At first anyway.

So, until LE gives me reason to believe the mother is less than innocent, I'm going to try not to judge her reaction. We are all different and we all react differently in different situations.

Of course, I am not always the best judge of character. I have a knack for seeing the good in people, even if there is none. :blushing:

If there really is a surveillance video showing her entering the park with just the oldest and youngest child, well, I'm hard-pressed to come up with an innocent explanation for that. I am trying to give her the benefit of the doubt until I know more, though.

I would think she wouldn't be so foolish as to do something like that - something that could easily be proven wrong. But, people do really dumb things sometimes, so I can see it happening. I would also think her older child would tell investigators that his/her (I can't remember if it's a boy or a girl) little brother wasn't with them when they got to the park.

We are wondering why she asked for a lawyer and rejected taking a poly.

Maybe they showed her the video with just 2 of her kids as she entered the park. That might be enough to make her shut down.

But didn't her older child initially tell LE that her little brother was seen getting into a black car?

I think maybe someone rehearsed the story with her. if she was told she had to say that to keep the family together, she probably would do so. poor thing.

Apparently Camilia was a foster child herself, and I guess she never had a family of her own. How sad. :(

Well, I did lose my youngest when she was 2-3 in the middle of a very crowded mall. Nickelodeon was there with all kinds of things for the kids to do plus they were holding an audition of some kind. There were tons of people there.

She was only missing for about 2 minutes total but - in that time, I collapsed to the ground in a bawling heap of a mess, got up and grabbed the poor mall cop by both collars and screamed at him that my baby girl was gone and he needed to do something to find her, he walkie-talkied her description to his other mall cops, all of the mall exits were locked and guarded with employees for people coming/going.

The thoughts running through my head were child molesters, sadists, sex trade, baby selling, black market and every other creepy crawlie possibility.

Then I saw her....walking along without a care in the world with a family pushing a stroller and she was eating their popcorn with them like she was one of theirs.

If it was any longer than those 2 minutes I don't think my body could handle it and I would probably literally implode with grief.

Looks like LE has some good questions they want to ask. At this point I would get myself a lawyer, actually I would arrived first thing with a lawyer. But that is just me. I wouldn't want to be asked around and around same questions if I already answered it, and I knew I was innocent. Just wanted to throw out reasons why some Lawyer up quick. And believe me I would probably be on the floor dying if this happen to me, if I lose sight of my child for a second my heart stops..

I'm posting pictures of the park from google maps. There appears to be a wrought iron fence around the playground equipment and one large opening for an entrance/exit. It is a neighborhood park and not a large park at all. No parking lot and I can't see street parking either.

From the front/entrance:

Please let me know if I blew the margins and I'll take the pics down.

Thanks for the screenshots, princess. As I thought, one way in, one way out of the park. No vehicle throughway. Further, the iron gates offer a view of the surrounding area in every direction.

More holes in the story than Swiss cheese.

According to LE at the presser, CT said she was pushing her 5yr old on the swing and was pushing him towards the fence. Since there is a fence on both sides, I am going to assume that it was towards the closest fence, so she should have been facing Shaker and little E would have been taken on Williams, right?

Perhaps the story will be that the perp reached over the fence and carried him off?? It doesn't look very tall to me.

Wonder when the last time someone OTHER than the mother saw him.

City garbage trucks don't run on Sunday, right?

Searching landfills is never a good sign.

Can someone with mapping skills create a map with the landfill they are searching on it along with where he lives and the park?

ETA: Maybe add in the place(s) that they said the dogs hit on last night? I think there was somewhere else besides the park.
