Baxter confirmed that investigators found the remains, believed to belong to an adult man, wrapped in a fitted sheet.

Additionally, he confirmed the man's hands were tied together in the front, and his ankles were also bound.
[...]
Baxter said the man, who they believe is white, had some tattoos and no jewelry.

'His body was wrapped in a fitted bed sheet and was bound with marine-style rope.'

''The Lucas County Coroner estimated the man to be about 5′6″ tall, weighing 160 pounds, with dark facial hair, and appears to be between 20 to mid-30s in age. Notable tattoos include “LV” on the torso, “V.I.P.” on the lower abdomen, “smoking revolver & playing cards” on right shoulder, “star with 8st.” on right forearm,''

Based upon information obtained from the autopsy, from additional research of missing persons information files and confirmed recently through DNA profile comparison, the body has been identified as that of George A. Cox, Jr., 32. Mr. Cox, Jr. was reported missing to the Cleveland, Ohio, Police Department. on Nov. 8, 2024.

George A Cox. is still listed on NamUs. He was a Black/African American man, not White as originally thought to be.

Maybe the perps thought he was in a rival gang due to his tattoos. I guess we'll have to wait to see what the cause of death was. I'm assuming he drowned but who knows.

Edit: I'm guessing the "LV" tattoo was a reference to Las Vegas? Maybe he got into gambling debt with the perp.

The "LV" tattoo might also be referencing Louis Vuitton. The tattoo and the Louis Vuitton logo look the same.
