Okay - now that I read the article.... I see he is charged with murder. I guess they don't have that in the court site yet. But he did have a hearing on 4/22/26 - which was yesterday & bond set at $3M.

I shall check it out later today or tomorrow. Unless @Clearsky you can find the murder charge?

Why do people not use birth control? Are they not taught in school how babies are made? (if they make it to a high enough grade to take the class) No money? Planned Parenthood has you covered!

Marcellaus Malone, 30, faces life in prison on charges of murder, involuntary manslaughter, domestic violence and seven counts of endangering children after Milford police responded to his home in December 2025 to find an unresponsive 4-month-old girl.

The infant was rushed to the hospital but could not be revived.

The ensuing investigation revealed that the night before, the child was being fussy. Malone took the infant from her mother and placed her in a bassinet in an adjacent room. That was the last place she was seen alive.

Investigators discovered a pattern of abuse by Malone going back at least two months, including telling the child she was “going to be a dead baby” and threatening to throw her off the bed if she “pissed him off.”

Clermont County prosecutors said Malone would swaddle the infant as punishment for crying until she could not breathe and would pass out. The investigation found that he had punched the baby in the face at least once for crying.

An autopsy revealed “reported history of occlusion of the nose and mouth by swaddling of the body and head,” which contributed to her death

Monday, April 27th:
*Preliminary Hearing [endangering children charge] (@ 1pm ET) – OH - 4 year old baby girl. On Dec. 11, 2025 she was found unresponsive & transported to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. *Marcellaus Malone (27 @ time of crime/28) arrested & indicted (4/21/26) & charged (4/22/26) with murder, involuntary manslaughter, domestic violence & 7 counts of endangering children. Plead not guilty (4/22/26). Bond set at $3M. Clermont County
Case info: Marcellaus Malone was indicted on charges of murder, involuntary manslaughter, domestic violence and seven counts of endangering children on Tuesday, April 21, in Clermont County court, according to court records. If convicted on all counts, Malone faces life in prison. He pleaded not guilty on Wednesday, April 22, according to Fox 19. His bond was set at $3 million, per the court records. Authorities responded to his home on Dec. 11, 2025 & found an unresponsive infant girl, prosecutors said. She was transported to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The night the baby died, her mother appropriately swaddled her & Malone put her in the bassinet, according to the investigation. He was allegedly the last person to see the infant alive. The infant's autopsy revealed “reported history of occlusion of the nose & mouth by swaddling of the body & head,” which contributed to her death, Clermont County Prosecutor Mark Tekulve said. Tekulve claimed that an investigation into the baby's death found abuse had begun at least two months before the Dec. 11 incident. "Investigators discovered a video of Malone making threats to the baby,” Clermont County Assistant Prosecutor Nick Horton said in court on Wednesday, April 22. “Telling her that she was going to be a dead baby & that he was going to toss her on the bed if she pissed him off."

A correction, niner, this was a four month old baby.

The thread header was wrong, I reported it the other day and they fixed it, because all the articles state this was an infant.
